Don't know who plays in his place but I thought he was one of your best players in the reverse fixture helping to keep the score at just the one. Judging by what I saw last night Beckford is going to have some seriously bruised ribs today, he might not be 100% by Saturday. Don't think we can read too much into the performance though and expect it to be a walk in the park for us, Reading were in cup-drive mode and were as industrious a team as I've seen this season. Unless we play with that same drive and passion there's no way we will make Everton look so poor. Actually, rather annoying how the commentators kept saying how poor Evetrton were as it really gave no credit to how well Reading were playing. Well, yes, they were industrious and we got what we deserved. We were terrible like.

In all honesty, I can see where CG is coming from.
