    Sunderland...

Funny thing about that bloke's comments are not only did he recognise Sunderland as some sort of generic shite team, but he's ranking them, a team who are having a great season by their standards, alongside the team who are bottom of the league he's criticising.
  2. Not quite, Tom. I was more ranting about Rosenborg deciding to lower themselves to the shite around them whenever I bet on them. Twats. And Arsenal can fuck off with that abysmal display tonight. Yes, Stoke did nothing but rough them up, yes, they've played a lot of games recently but they were fucking woeful. They should have known money was riding on the -1, but no. Arses.
  3. What did you find particularly class about Heinze today? He was calm, solid, and petulant. He is this way most of the time. Brandao is always rubbish. Drogba's mentally deficent Brazilian cousin. Arsenal have been just as good as Man U. I hope they win it. 4 more defeats suggest otherwise. Does it matter though when you draw shit loads of games as ManUSA have done. We've won 2 more away games than ManUSA and they've still got to play Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool all away. Well, err, they tend to garner more points by drawing games instead of losing them. Their nearly flawless home record is a help, too. They've been the best side this year. Doesn't mean they've been great.

  5. The league has been poor this season, that's quite obvious. Man Utd are the best team in the league because they keep getting the results to stay top, and they will win the league. Hardly their fault their so-called competition for the title are too shite to catch them.
  6. -1, -1, -1 The bloody draw looks like coming off anarl, the knobs.
  7. Do you use these witty retorts on all those Vietnamese lasses you're after or whatever random nationality they are?
  8. After a bright opening, Arsenal have descended into utter rubbish.
  9. Ah yes, the classic shite Scholes tackle only to be laughed off because it's Paul Scholes.
  10. Well this is a thrilling evening of football.
  11. Nowt they can do about that tbf. I know. It's still extremely unappetising like.
  12. Oh wow, ITV have the 2nd leg of Chelsea vs. Copenhagen. Essential viewing.
  13. An useless one. Cold comfort. I thought the first leg finished 1-1. My mate just called me about that result - he has £100 on Porto for the Europa League and thought the first leg finished 1-1 too. "Fuck's sake man, I was sure they'd finish the job in Portugal, absolutely gutted" "Err... yeah, it was 2-1 in Spain mate."
  14. Probably when David Pleat is commentating. "Fay-nigh".
  15. Wow, Arsenal looking well up for this like, 2 decent attacks within 2 minutes.
  16. Walcott thumps the post within a minute.
  17. As to how he's playing for Man Utd generally still, indeed.
  18. Wow, Barca not playing during the week. First time for everything.

    Local Hero?

Sorry I have no idea what you mean? Didn't read your post. Seems you used them as a counterexample anyway. Basically they had XI foreigners and won a treble. It means next to nothing to have local players, but in a romantic way it is quite nice. This. Even if there is some sort of research which suggests a correlation between more local players and relative success, I doubt there's much causation.[/uniwork]
  20. It media cool to like him therefore now socially uncool to have a good word said about him. Must...go against... mainstream opinion.....
