  2. Mate, good luck. I'm not even betting on PL games today, that's how much I want you to win.

  4. What's with these predictions of thrashing them? Just pure optimism?
  5. Lose today and we're firmly in the relegation dogfight. Win and we'll have unlikely aspirations of Europe.

    N-O Player's Awards

Season of the season. Autumn was decent.
  7. Aye, exactly. We could finish in Europe yet, and it could totally influence the whole summer. But apparently finishing in Europe is also a negative thing, it's too many matches. Remember: extra matches in Europe increase injuries by 1000%.
  8. Fair play to Rangers, never expected them to get past Sporting.
  9. Dirk Kuyt joined Liverpool from Utrecht, apparently.
  10. Arsenal haven't lost since November and are only 1 point behind now and have a decent run in. The next 2 weeks are crucial for both teams. Man Utd with a game in hand, remember. I agree Arsenal have the easier run in but I fully expect them to slip up against a side they shouldn't. For a side who have been beaten twice by newly promoted teams at home, lost a game they were winning 2-0 at home and drew a game they were leading 4-0, I can't not see them invariably slipping up. I also can't see them beating Man Utd when they meet. But here's hoping they do.
  11. Fwiw, I'd rather Arsenal won it but simply can't see it. They'll slip up whereas Man Utd will pick up sufficient points to win the worst PL in a while.
  12. Exactly. No one in their right mind would say they've been great but they've been better than others. Non-argument. Could equally say if Man Utd hadn't conceded a couple of late goals, they'd be miles clear.

    Sunderland...

Funny thing about that bloke's comments are not only did he recognise Sunderland as some sort of generic shite team, but he's ranking them, a team who are having a great season by their standards, alongside the team who are bottom of the league he's criticising.
  14. Not quite, Tom. I was more ranting about Rosenborg deciding to lower themselves to the shite around them whenever I bet on them. Twats. And Arsenal can fuck off with that abysmal display tonight. Yes, Stoke did nothing but rough them up, yes, they've played a lot of games recently but they were fucking woeful. They should have known money was riding on the -1, but no. Arses.
  15. What did you find particularly class about Heinze today? He was calm, solid, and petulant. He is this way most of the time. Brandao is always rubbish. Drogba's mentally deficent Brazilian cousin. Arsenal have been just as good as Man U. I hope they win it. 4 more defeats suggest otherwise. Does it matter though when you draw shit loads of games as ManUSA have done. We've won 2 more away games than ManUSA and they've still got to play Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool all away. Well, err, they tend to garner more points by drawing games instead of losing them. Their nearly flawless home record is a help, too. They've been the best side this year. Doesn't mean they've been great.

  17. The league has been poor this season, that's quite obvious. Man Utd are the best team in the league because they keep getting the results to stay top, and they will win the league. Hardly their fault their so-called competition for the title are too shite to catch them.
