Nolan and Barton in the middle of a 4-4-2 IMO wouldn't provide much, if any at all, protection to the defence. And if Barton were to drop deeper, I feel it'd severely limit the creative abilities he possesses. However, when the alternative is Smith... Do NUFC supporters have a radically different view to that?

My opinion is I just think Sunderland will edge it by a single goal. Tiote and Carroll being out is, unfortunately, a big blow however you look at it. Their home record has generally been excellent for what is essentially a mid-table team, and I think Bruce, albeit his obsession getting a tad concerning, will have his players truly riled and ready for the game. I think Pardew is aware of the importance of this game, yes, but I just think Sunderland will have an edge. In fact, I actually think you'll play relatively well but my gut instinct is Sunderland will just nick it. 2-1.

Really??? That'll be more than handy, save traipsing halfway across Newcastle to see it. Are they advertising it? It's what Ian was telling me, will confirm it for you mate but he seemed fairly sure. (Not living there this year so can't be sure myself).

Dunno if Prophet mentioned but apparently the Blue Bell in Sandyford is showing the game.

It'll be nee good unless Bruce is either a) the lord of the turntable or b) doing a merry jig (wobble) to Slipknot - Duality.

Did you say something?

As I say, compared to here, Everton forums are mongtastic. However, out of interest, which ones did you check? There are, like any team, a group of level-headed fans. And then there are those keyboard warriors with little to no grasp on reality. KD: http://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/forums/2-Everton-Forum

@chris_kammy Chris Kamara Not a good day in the Kammy household today won't be working tomorrow on the Wigan game, thanks 4 all ffs - Pienaar is off to Spurs All the other rumours today have been that it's not Spurs so I wouldn't take what Kamara says as gospel. please say it's us. btw what are the good everton forums? GrandOldTeam is... alright. Although a fair share of mongs. That's about as good as it gets in terms of Everton forums.

Pienaar's found his level in terms of being a relatively key player at a club. Produced a very ecent level of performance and I'd rather he stayed, but he's not leaving on the best terms, IMO.

Cease! Adu not approve.

De Zeew (ex Wigan) has a doctorate in Medicine. Andrei Arshavin - degree in fashion design Slaven Bilic (degree in law) Zvonmir Boban (economics) I think Carlos Bocanegra has a degree. Mutu has a degree in Law. Doesn't use it very well.

I'll start getting suspicious if he starts a campaign to bring Cherno Samba, To Madeira and Freddy Adu to Tyneside.

Well isn't Dan Williams quite the fucking snitch. Sheepshagging cunt.

One game. Not that he played. Can't really say that me seeing him have anything to say really. Done Wise-scouting on him, that's all. He's linked to Premier League clubs, young, and out of contract. We should have room for these types of signings tbh. Don't know if there's some sort of deep-rooted NUFC joke in there but you're joking, right? About? Pretty much every part of that last post. Re-read. Also, I'm interested as to when in his career Nigel Reo-Coker was a "very good" player.
