As I've said before (meh, it's worthy of a repeat), probably the funniest quote from any manager I've heard this year was (as well as him saying their season was based on beating you), "With 67 days to go to the next derby, we need to exact revenge. Not that I'm counting the days or anything."
-
But with those passes he got from Xavi and Iniesta all match long 3 is actually a bad tally for this match. Should've scored 5-6 at least. Iniesta and Xavi re just dominating this match ridiculous how good they are together. Just seen your sig, you cheeky get.

In fairness, I'd laugh if it was a rousing rendition of 'Smack My Bitch Up'.

It's what people said about us and look what happened. Never say never. Who was saying that about you?

They won't go down, man. They'll finish in the lower-top half.
-
Not quite. I could, albeit I'd need no player near me, I'd need to be standing still, and admittedly the ball wouldn't go anywhere near my teammate. Apart from that though, yeah.

Oh fuck off, that's ridiculous from Iniesta.

4-0.

A couple for VI, or indeed anyone else: Is there anything behind the seemingly deeper deployment of Messi recently? I don't know if it's just me or but I've noticed he's playing from a lot deeper in recent games. Also, I've noticed he doesn't get subbed off much, if at all. Barca, so often, have the game wrapped up at the 60-70 minute mark and I would've thought Pep would want to, more often, keep Messi in cotton wool. Is he just particularly fit? Is it frowned upon to sub off players early in Spain? On a side note, Betis have actually been pretty decent here. Looks likely we'll see more of Betis-Sevilla next year. Also just noticed the Ruiz de Lopera holds over 50,000 - never knew it was that big.

Messi with a one-two off the goalie. Genius.
-
aye but be fair, 8 barce players plus me,you and alan smith would still be enough to see off most. At least we wouldn't be the weak link in that side. In fact, yeah, Valdes aside, seems to be full-strength.
-
Because Ipswich were very unlikely to win?
-
Near enough full strength Barca team this bar a couple, isn't it?

If Cahill was here, we'd of course never see 2 up. Whether through free will or his hands being tied, I'd like to think he'll go for it and get at them. Make it a bloody uncomfortable afternoon for them. I will be fuming if we give a performance like we did last year at Anfield.

Particularly against one of their relegation rivals. You won't be laughing when they beat you on Sunday Scrappy 1-0 win, Kuyt bundling it in from 4 yards. Wouldn't be surprised in the slightest. You better win or you'll have us to answer to after the game May not. Exam on Monday.

Is he carrying that banana to throw at Darren Bent's family? I do enjoy your sporadic bursts of racism. Edit: no, wait. Yeah OK I get it. You escape this time.
-
Because he's got you 3 wins out of 5 in the league, perhaps? And no, this doesn't mean I think he's the right man to help you progress long-term but see how he does, no? Win, lose or draw on Sunday, I can see Pardew getting zero praise. And that's not how it should be (if you get a good result).

Baines, this season, has been the best attacking left back in the league. Enrique however is superior defensively, yep.
