  1. Err, ref, fancy giving decisions both ways?
  2. It wouldn't be the worst thing in the world for Cattermole to get sent off for injuring Heitinga and JR coming on.
  3. Also, Arteta needs to start turning up. Love him I may do, but for me, he's not been up to it recently. A mediocre performance from him is still good by the general standards of the team, but he's playing within himself at the moment. Needs to show his quality. His set pieces have been fucking abysmal for a while now.
  4. Doesn't look like he wants to be here half the time - perhaps thinking he's better than he is. I'd advise him to first of all concentrate on not losing possession so often. There is a good player in there and he has played well for us previously but he's not showing it currently.
  5. Something surely has to have happened with Yakubu behind the scenes for Moyes not to play him. It makes no footballing sense. And yeah, party trick #2 this game: Heitinga bumbling around losing possession. I hope all this means Saha and Heitinga have the games of their lives tonight.
  6. Also, barring Saha suddenly becoming very good again, watch out for Moyes' party trick: the inevitable 60th minute switch for Yakubu. Bily and Beckford will also come on if we're chasing the game. Very predictable.
  7. You want Yak and Rodwell in as well? Not a clue what Yak has done to be playing second fiddle to Saha. He was getting some form back, scored against Stoke, then got dropped.
  8. Sunderland 0-10 Everton - Hibbert (81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 89), Howard (90)

    Sunderland...

I'm afraid my patience are wearing thin with Bily. Still want to see him given a chance in the AMC position, though. Btw, this thread or other games today?

  11. I prefer him to the ones mentioned as well, but The Last Word is absolutely mental. It's the most annoying thing ever to watch that when you haven't already seen the games - he pauses footage of a goal about 5 or 6 times to the extent that you're either screaming "just show me the fucking goal!" or you give up on it. Andy Gray demonstrating dangerous tackles on Richard Keys was a bit bizarre, especially as it on that daft square of astro-turf they have in the corner. Would've been funny if he'd just have launched into a 2 footed challenge on him.
  12. Andy Gray is an almighty cock but I agree, I'd prefer listening to him than insipid shite like Keown, Dixon and Shearer. Don't agree with a lot of what Gray says but at least he has some vaguely interesting things to point out.
  13. It's a strange season. Chelsea - started off very well but now been beaten 4 times already, and definite struggles behind the scenes. Arsenal - beaten 4 times already, old habits die hard. Man Utd - despite playing poorly by their standards throughout this season, they remain unbeaten and are arguably in the best shape. Man City - Mancini's tactics called into question and dropped plenty of points already, and obvious questions over whether he can keep players surely motivated by money, happy. Spurs - going along alright but dropped plenty of points themselves.
  14. It probably is, Dan. Independent of this rumour though, any truth to it or not, it's safe to say Chelsea have a few problems at the moment. I really think Wilkins' departure will have ramifications at some point and, as jdckelly says, the appointment to "assistant first-team coach" of this Emenalo character (even though Ancelotti said he wouldn't be doing any coaching!) just confuses things further. It's all very odd.
  15. Aye, but it's fun. In all seriousness, I dunno... the Wilkins incident looks to have ruffled a few feathers, and I'm pretty sure Ancelotti will have been pissed off about him leaving. It doesn't look like he's in control at Chelsea.
  16. Reports on Twitter: Ancelotti resignation rejected by CFC.
  17. Do your fans thing he's a complete c*** as ours do? Not really tbh, we just think he's rather s****. Can't fault the effort he's put in though but his style of play isn't suited to Spurs imo. Is he not a fan of hoofing balls up to Crouch like? No, he says he prefers to hoof to player like Tim Cahil who might actually score. But he just doesn't do knock-downs like Peter.

  19. Tevez saved me from complete disaster this week after various calamities topped off earlier today by Blackburn getting a clean sheet but Givet getting subbed at HT. Malouda is on thin ice at the moment, one more goal/assist-less performance () and he's out. But dare I go another week without VdV? I didn't get him this week because I thought, Arsenal away, he's unlikely to do too much, right? Wrong. Could have been much better if I put Tevez as captain. Disappointed Nani didn't do much against Wigan at home, particularly with them playing 9 men for a decent chunk.
