  1. "It's MKSC, plays it wide, cross comes in, knock back by Stu and there's David Villa to knock it home, 1-0!"
  2. Let's be honest. The formation will go out the window after 10 minutes. Just run around, kick people, score, WIN.
  3. Many. The more violent the better - as long as no-one goes all De Jong on someone, it's all good.
  4. Looks like the ground might be a bit wet so in shock circumstances, the boots are getting whipped out. This will improve my total lack of movement by about 0%, and my passing accuracy by a similar margin. Maybe 0.1%.
  5. Greg posted a bus timetable a few pages back. Also, taxi from Central? Me, Ian and Rocker are taxiing it. Taxi it with us.
  6. Disturbed? By the imminently sublime standard of our football, who wouldn't be?

I think we're at the point where we need a weekly video review panel to punish dangerous play and divers retrospectively. What about straight red cards for diving? The other team won't benefit at all from Ashley Young getting a one match ban and a telling off. I know, I know - it still relies on referees getting it right but if a player knows any attempt to con the ref puts himself in jeopardy of getting sent off, I don't think he'd attempt it in the first place.
  8. I just personally think the spine of your team has declined through injury/loss of form/age in some cases. Arteta and Jagielka don't seem like the players they once were. Fellaini contributes little at this point. I like Cahill, Saha, and Baines a lot, but I am not too high on many of your other players. The team really does not have much to spend and when they have made big money buys in the past few seasons they haven't really worked out. The youth setup is nice, but a club like Villa has good youth players as well, and I still think they are declining. The league position thing is a different story. There is now a distinct top five, imo if Liverpool stay in a mess. The rest of it is quite open, but I don't see your team putting a great run together. Just my opinion. I know, and you're entitled to it. Fwiw if any club is liable to put a run together, it's us IMO - as we've done so in the past few seasons. I think once we start getting the results our performances by and large have deserved, people will suddenly be lauding over Moyes and the squad again. I do however agree with your general point of the dynamics of the league. Man City and Spurs are moving forward faster than us due to greater funds, I don't think that can be denied. However that doesn't mean I don't think we can compete with them domestically.

Don't think a telling off or anything is what is needed - he needs a complete break from football for a month or so IMO. I can't see it happening, though. It'll be interesting to see how Ferguson handles the situation over the coming weeks.

I didn't feel annoyed watching Rooney tonight; I felt a bit sad really. Such a great player (he had been playing great) has recently cut a miserable figure and doesn't look physically or mentally fit to play football at the moment. I hope he sorts himself out.

To think City paid nearly forty million for those two. Am I right in saying nearly £90m for SWP, Barry, Lescott and Milner?

The only thing worse than the sight of SWP on the right wing is the sight of SWP on the left wing. Terrible footballer. Him and Barry should be nowhere near the England lineup, and Rooney should currently be nowhere near a football pitch.

Mark Bright would be wanking over this. Seriously, that was an absolutely atrocious first half. We've played right into their hands with our predictable, tedious play.
