  1. Some of the antics from Inter players have been disgraceful. But from Inter's perspective it's a brilliant defensive performance.
  2. Absolutely. Barca ultimately haven't done enough.
  3. This has been decent viewing for all the wrong reasons.
  4. Busquets play-acting or not, Motta was an idiot for having his hand so high, on a yellow card.
  5. Didn't see much value to put heavy stakes on but couldn't resist a cheeky flutter, so a quid each on: Sneijder FGS Barca 3-2 Inter HT/Barca FT Also on a different note, don't get suckered into a World Cup top scorer/winner bet. Absolutely atrocious value, even worse than I thought it'd be. And no, I didn't put one on.
  6. Felt sorry for Williams considering how gash (by ROS's (that could catch on) standards) the Rocket was today. Williams played pretty well thoroughout their match but just found O'Sullivan that bit better. 3 centures in the last 4 frames or something, unbelievable.
  7. Jonny you fiend, you're on quite the run at the moment. Let me know about what you're backing tomorrow. Ronnie was Mr Grumpyface today, less than 24 hours after producing some sublime stuff against Williams. God knows which Ronnie will turn up tomorrow. Selby must be furious he's not leading.
  8. There'd be pandemonium if they were promoted to League 3. I reckon they could even win it.
  9. That would be a very good window for you, albeit I don't rate NRC whatsoever. I agree you should be targeting those sorts of players but getting all would cost you a fair whack.
  10. Out of interest, why would Roberts be a pointless signing? Because he's old, an average footballer, and doesn't score many goals. We need a striker that will make a significant impact. PL standard striker IMO. If you could get him on the cheap I think he'd be a canny buy and someone who knows what it takes in this league to bring off the bench isn't a bad thing. If not, go all out for Keane.
  11. Also, we've got the most losses in the top flight. Suck on that.
  12. I'm not sure where your point's going here. If you don't see us as a big club because we don't have much money, fine by me. I can see Bayern once again losing but going through on away goals.
  13. There's a difference between mocking someone's demise, and taking notice of it. Of course it'd be massive news if it were to happen. We're a big club, but I guess I'm bound to say that. Honours from the 80s/90s mean nothing? Ah dear.
  14. and if we would have been relegated in '94 or '98 then it would have been the same kind of reaction from other fans. Like I'm sure was the case when Man United went down in the 70's and Villa went down in the 80's. Don't think many people would be interested if Everton went down tbh. Bollocks. I remember in '98 a pretty significant amount of Chelsea fans booing their own team because they were winning against Bolton which kept us up. billy- we have been relegated once iirc but have played the most seasons in the top flight. Yep, they were wishing Bolton to score like never before, it was incredible. Mind, that twat Huckerby did his best to single-handedly send us down, iirc.

Last relegation was 1951, Billy. Cumulatively we've had 107 top flight seasons, more than anyone else.
  16. Disagree. He's held a relatively solid goalscoring record throughout his career, he isn't absolutely prolific but he's always struck me as a smart player who can absolutely still cut it at the top level, and particularly if he's a regular starter. Him and Carroll would have potential IMO (albeit you lot would have better idea) with the way Keane can drop off and link the midfield. KD would have a good insight, I know he wasn't happy with him in his 2nd stint?
  17. I've seen a few people say Robbie Keane would be a bad signing. I assume that's purely because of the potential price/wages?
  18. Out of interest, why would Roberts be a pointless signing?
  19. So is it ranked via co-efficients? Come on, you can't go banding about these wild ideas without the stats.
