  1. Fwiw, I think we're bankers for tomorrow. In fact, Everton -1 would be a good shout. I reckon Moyes will be desperate to finish the season with a bang and prove we'll be a force next year. 3-1.
  2. I know it's not easy to judge him on and not the ideal game, but when we ripped Hull a new one (we ought to release a DVD really), Cairney was canny, and scored a great goal. The glimpses I've seen of him in other games suggests he's got a bright future. Anyone seen him at length?
  3. But, Jonny, we didn't wait until the 93rd minute to do it. We didn't hang about and just spinelessaly surrendered our 2nd lead within 3 minutes. Ok, ok, we're even.
  4. I've always seen them as a hard team to beat, LLLO. I agree of course their home record isn't good, I guess a lot of the reason they're safe with 2 games to go is largely down to how truly awful the bottom 3 have been. I still think if they strengthen in the summer though, they'll stay up. I rate McCarthy.
  5. Have I missed something with Wolves? Barring one or two occasions, they've been hard to beat this year. A lot will depend on summer transfer activity. If they can strengthen over the summer I don't see why they wouldn't stay up.
  6. I hope you fuckers stay on 99 points. That is all.
  7. 4/7, blimey, thought they'd be evens. I guess Peterborough are much worse than I thought they were, though. Seems a fair bet that - stake? I know if I do more than one accumulator, I'll have one-off on each so I think I'll just stick a tenner on something like Norwich, Millwall, Newcastle, Forest and someone else.
  8. Dunno to be honest, Tranmere are my local team and I know they are sh**, so I'm going against them . But you're right Colchester are on dodgy form. http://footballstats.sportinglife.com/dom/ENG/D2/oform.html Thanks for that - I'll take them out. Mebbe Blackpool? Fair shout that and I'd imagine they'd be around 11/10? Norwich and Millwall also have what look like easy enough home games, but you just never know.
  9. "Doyle would be a complete waste of a signing", oh man. -tastic I can only assume.
  10. Actually, now I've checked the fixtures on the back of those teams, Ocho, I reckon I will bet. Are Colchester still in edgy form, though? I'd certainly fancy the first 3, in fact, there's a bloody load I'd fancy. Argh!
  11. A bit hesitant to bet this weekend. I fancy some strange results will rear their ugly heads due to teams scrapping for their lives for various reasons.
  12. I'd agree with you but Fulham's run has been extraordinary and I wouldn't be surprised whatsoever if they beat Hamburg at CC.
  13. I still fancy Liverpool to go through unfortunately. Why are they always at home in the second leg ffs. They are shockingly average without Torres, and I can't see them scoring three if Atleticó manage to sneak an away goal. I have an awful feeling they will, because Atletico's defence is leaky at best. Entirely agree about Torres, though. P.S. Go Fulham!
  14. Can't. Fucking. Wait. And short sentences are not my thing!
  15. I was gonna say they lack Eto'o's energy up front and forcing defenders into mistakes via constant pressure.
  16. IMO Fulham just can't be ruled out anymore. I thought last time would be the end of it since getting a 3rd fantastic result in a row doesn't usually happen.
  17. All Bayern atm but a diabolical end product.
  18. £5 on Bayern, Villa and Ayr.
  19. Inter were the better team tonight, deserved their win. A few things went Inter's way which were debatable but just last year for example they got away with it big time at Stamford Bridge.
  20. Fuck. Me. Cost me £85 that did. I'd not be too annoyed if it were QPR or Notts County but for So'ton of all teams not to even score against Oldham at home, with 10 wins in 11 behind them, is fucking infuriating.
  21. Southampton denied 3 clear handball penalties and then miss from 3 yards out in the 94th minute; sums up the night.
  22. Bloody Southampton, wouldn't have thought for minute they wouldn't get 1 goal in 90 minutes vs Oldham at home.
