  1. As do most neutrals I'd suspect, including myself, but Reading had their chance 11 days ago.
  2. We selling you to another forum like? I'm already cheating on you with another forum, I'm afraid. Ash - really seems we are. Our finances are somewhat of a mystery; essentially, Kenwright simply doesn't have the money and it seems more and more likely we'll have to sell to buy. And that phrase of us failing to set up a transfer just sums us up. Sad state of affairs.
  3. This Neill deal is fucking shambolic if true.

    Spot what is wrong

Who gives a fuck? He's wearing an Arsenal polo shirt, and?
  5. I'm whacking a tenner on the bus I'm getting at quarter past being late.

    Robbie Savage

As I've said before, I should think he's a twat but I think he's canny.
  7. The league appears to be rather poor at the moment. Not 'boring', just poor. Here's hoping Milan continue their challenge and, *gasp*, Inter have to actually work for the title. Juventus look atrocious. djmattis - what's happened to Genoa, relative to last year?
  8. That's him out for 6 weeks, then.
  9. He'd probably help to improve your game in this league. So that's 4 months of use you'll get out of him, at least.
  10. brummie - you're spot on about needing a creative midfielder. The games you struggle in, at least when I'm watching, usually have the common denominator of the lack of a technically gifted playmaker who can make something happen out of nothing. Is it too simple/harsh to say you lack a Plan B if the pace/power combo of Milner, Young, Agbonlahor and Carew doesn't work? Either way, a central midfielder would be top of my list if I were manager.
  11. Probably late to the game but Juve-Milan and Tenerife-Barca later, wahey. Back of the net.
  12. What have we done to deserve this sort of luck?
  13. The thread somehow made it through the needle.
  14. One of the least subtle attempts I've seen...I still reckon 3 or 4 bites though. It's hard to predict. I am but a WUM amateur. Coz I iz nice lyk dat.
  15. Defoe = Better version of Owen, with pace. I nar, man.
  16. Take him. We need someone who is clinical, and he's always liable to get a goal - to have a world-class striker like Owen starting or coming off the bench would be mint. His finishing is amazing, as is his movement.
  17. Ouchhh. Ah not a bad day after all, was over at a mates watching. Did a big double with Leeds and Chelsea when the goal went in. That left 150 down. Then had money on Stokes anytime scorer for Hibs (used to go to school with him so always do him anytime). After that bet, I was 35 down for the day. And now i've an open bet on West Ham, got them at 6.5 i think on betfair. 25 on it. So could turn a profit yet today! When Leeds scored? Blimey, you must have gone through the works when Man Utd were attacking.
  18. Awful, awful pass there to play that lad through. Could and should have been a clear one-on-one.
  19. Aye, can't say I've watched West Ham loads but whenever I do, he stands out. Fantastic work ethic.
  20. As I say, plans aren't definite yet but I'm quite tied up most weekends around that period. See what's convenient for everyone else, I'd love to come along though. Hope something is sorted either way.
