Depends how you see it as a fan. Take 2 scenarios: You go down, but you enjoy a couple of victories against Man Utd and Liverpool for example, or: You get beat by the bigger teams but you scrape victories against sides around you, and finish 17th and stay up.

Here's some advice: don't get to half time winning 2-0 on aggregate and end up losing 4-2. That could be quite depressing. It could aid our cause if we didn't follow suit, I agree.

18242 out of 40157 isn't even half full. Last season their average attendance was 37955. And they knew what they were coming to see, a match for absolutely nothing but honor. And Everton could and should've (imo) have won it with the chances they spurned. Fwiw, we created fuck all. I watched the match as well mate, you had two or three chances which should've gone in. Like that (i can't remember his name, aggard?) shot just before the end of it. BATE had pretty much fuck all and got lucky. I'll very rarely say this, but they had most of the control of the match. If they had better attacking players, they'd have won by more. They were shit man That being said, the match itself was pretty shit in general. Of course they were. A lot of them weren't good tonight. But they're 17/18 so writing them off is a bit harsh at the moment. Rodwell and Gosling (obviously), Coleman, Baxter and Duffy look good thus far, Rodwell being the stand-out. Agard's asset is pace, he just doesn't know how to use it. Hopefully he can improve over the next couple of years.
