  1. Blimey. Living the high (student) life!
  2. 50p on: Lyon draw Kiev draw Cardiff AZ returns £50. And £5 on Liverpool (-1) Sevilla (-1) Stuttgart. Something like £18-£19 at a guess.
  3. It's safe to say in terms of winning, Holloway won't be fussed about getting a stunning lady, but as long as he gets the bird into the taxi, he'll see it as a job done.
  4. as are atletico madrid. My go. Juventus.
  5. I love Phil K. Whenever I feel angry and argumentative, I realise someone else is angrier and feeling more argumentative than me. This settles me.
  6. Writing's on the wall for CSKA.
  7. Juve, get your arses into gear.
  8. ... but the best player in the world No. Afraid so. Nope, not imo. He is of course fantastic, but he isn't the best.
  9. Kiss of un-death! 0-1 Real, 0-1 Milan
  10. Doesn't look like anyone in the CL is intending on doing anything.
  11. NOFC MANAGER IN OUTRAGEOUS OUTBURST The head of the fledgling Newcastle-Online football team has delivered an ASTONISHING attack on the infant population, by endorsing Golden Glory's SCATHING assessment that Watford "will rape you, like I could do to a baby with a stick". Pilko defended his actions, saying, "Look, I've had a tough day. I didn't mean to agree with GG but when you wonder who out of Wullie or Nixon is best to play around in the hole, your mind plays tricks on you." Fellow team members have remained TIGHT-LIPPED. More as we GET it.
  12. £2 on Juve, Real, Bayern, Man Utd and Chelsea. £1 on Milan draw, Leicester and WBA. Fairly conservative on this occasion. Will be somewhat more rash for Wednesday CL games/Europa League like.

    Potential loanees

Is Warnock a top ITK or something? I didn't know he was a SPurs fan. And so, the picture unravels.

I still don't know why Jose Baxter hasn't been loaned to someone. Exciting young talent, high hopes surrounding him and unlikely to get that many appearances for the first team at Goodison. Surely worth a punt?
  16. 5 English players? That is utterly nothing. Most clubs will change not one bit.
  17. I shouldn't complain after winning 65 yesterday, but, I was for some reason positive it would end 2-1 MK Dons tonight, but didn't put a bet on. Ah well!
  18. It's only Phil Neville, mate. His quality isn't much but imo he's absolutely vital for us, at least for the foreseeable future. Yakubu quite a way from match fitness, Jagielka late November, and Arteta this week has been ruled out for another 6 weeks. Pretty damn annoying. Yet, call it arrogance, but I still think we'll finish top 7. Chris:
  19. Fuck's sake. ANOTHER long-term injury to a key player.
  20. Is it just me who finds it easier to bet on the Italian and German leagues? Of course anything can happen but as a rule of thumb, I've found these leagues to be generally more 'predictable', overall.
  21. Thought he was blowing out of his arse after an hour tbh. To be expected playing as a lone striker away from home and he put a shift in but he looked completely fucked. He may even be human. His work-rate was fantastic, yeah. Possibly to be expected with him being young, up for it, and all that. Good try Messi btw.
  22. Interestingly hasn't looked to have a goalscorers instinct in the very little we've seen of him so far. Done a cracking job leading the line on his own mind, worked his bollocks off and there's plenty in his game to offer hope. That's the thing - certain aspects of his play are mature, considerably beyond his years. Wish he was a bit more direct though in terms of having a pop at goal, he seems scared to shoot at times.
  23. Ranger was frustrating to watch. One minute, he was holding it up, using his strength, the next... he was floating about the left wing looking totally lost. There was one incident in the 2nd half where there was a cross from the right pulled back, begging for someone to arrive and tap it in for 2-0... but Ranger was nowhere near. Frighteningly simple common sense I'd say. But, don't want to be too harsh on him.
  24. We were atrocious in the 2nd half today, Fulham were on top without playing well. And yet I still wouldn't be surprised if we finish above Villa and Spurs. Btw djmattis, is your grasp of English football as wretched as your prediction about Everton suggests it is?
