Any updates on Elanga then? -
A blast from the past.

Tenuous link to Tapsoba.

The irony is they probably will across the board.

It happens, but it's quite a rarity. For those games it'd be nice to have something different on the bench to change shape or dynamic. -

Where we stagnant v Everton because we have too many "pace merchants" or because our front three looked absolutely gassed and we had nothing on the bench? -

Completely agree. Our execution of Plan A will continue to improve with more quality depth and options off the bench. As you say, this doesn't mean that we shouldn't look to be flexible or ignore players who are comfortable on the ball, but a new GK, RCB and RW improve Plan A without reinventing the wheel. -
They'll get him if they can raise the dough...

I respect the scepticism, particularly from posters like Ikon, who have a good knowledge of the player. But there's nothing wrong with improving our plan A. -

Ryder (the GOAT), claiming talks are still active. -
Neither, we haven't opened talks yet. I'm still confident he stays this summer. It'll be more a worry next summer when Bayern and Barca in particular are in for a new striker.

Shows the perceived value in Europe is becoming less of a thing when Premier League teams come knocking.

After many tedious updates, it gets done at £50 million, plus £5 million in add-ons. -
Is he? Likely a non-starter then.
-
I'd have him at that price.

I guess it depends if the club thinks it can find value abroad, as it did with Botman, Bruno, etc.
