On a side note, I always find it weird when folk flex so hard over their football club. I get it can be a big part of our lives, but the London, Irish and Indian e-scouse contingent always give it bizarrely big licks even though they'll never step foot in Anfield.

Succulent.

VAR actually doing its job, lovely.

I'm not sure why so many post words to the effect of "can't underestimate these", as though its in Howe or the players nature to do so. If we get beat, it won't be for the want of trying. -

I think it was circa 11 points to qualify for the play offs and 16 points to qualify automatically last time around. If we write off PSG, we need 3-4 wins from USG, Bilbao, Benfica, Marseille, Leverkusen and PSV to progress. -

Not opposed to it myself. -
I think we'll finish top seven again personally. If we can do it at our injury ravaged worst, we can certainty do it with a far stronger squad.

Bayern absolutely rattled.

Our MotM today from what I watched.

Thr beautiful game (you're absolutely right though).

Another reason to step away.

Weirdly felt very little emotion there, definitely starting to not give a fuck given how bent the whole thing is. Rough start, we're clearly trying to transition between styles and it isn't quite clicking at the moment. Howe will turn it around, he always does, but the knives will be out from the usual suspects.

Who's finished?

The more scrappy it became, the more we came into it. Arsenal started much the better and Pope kept us in it.
-
He quite clearly played the ball.

Schrodinger's whinge #6 Howe isn't flexible enough and has too many favourites. V Howe needs to go back to 4-3-3 and settle on his best eleven. -

3-4-2-1 according to Downie.
