Think fast wingers who run in behind should be perfect for big Nick.

Presume going off Howe's comments, it'll be a very similar team to Wednesday. -
Semenyo seems to have gone up a level this season. Awful keeping mind.

Wouldn't be suprsed to see us go back in for Trafford.

Elliot Anderson (now playing for Nottingham Forest)

The point was, at the moment Anderson isn't "ready made" for us, but he could be in the future. Liverpool and Real Madrid are an irrelevance because the make up of their team is entirely different. At present, he's at best a sideways step from Joelinton. It wasn't you, but it's even more bizarre to say he was ready for us two seasons ago when he couldn't get in the team. He needed and he still needs minutes for his development. -

Real Madrid never really needed goals from midfield because they had the luxury of having Benzema and Ronny up top. If we're playing with eights and a forward like Woltemade up top, they need to chip in. -

Our fixtures are pretty good now until the end of January. Time to put some points on the board. -

A "ready made" fit would do both though or at least offer a bit of everything. I agree we need to take care of the ball better (even if it is overstated), but there's no point in sacrificing Joe or Ramsey's output for the sake of a more possession based player. We're a team of limited goal scorers as it is. Not s slight against the lad, he's come on a lot and will probably add goals and assists to his game, but he needs to keep playing regularly. -
Pretty much. There's no need to start apportioning blame or criticism.
-
Gutted for him, but at least Big Nick has hit the ground running.

Good lord.

No, he's still not "ready made" for us. There's no denying he's a good player, but we need midfielders with more end product, something he's yet to add to his game. I'm sure he will with regular minutes like. -

He wasn't though, he needed regular game time. Even then I'd hardly describe as "ready made" for us. I do think we'll go back in for him though. -
Not that it matters hugely, but weren't Como given a discounted price as part of some shifty player swapping?
-
Reminds me of Klopp's early Liverpool, but they improved with the ball as they added more quality.
-
Against Liverpool, wasn't he chucked on with about ten minutes to go and with us a man down?
-
£1.8 million, allegedly.
-
He's just an absolute joy to watch and he's only going to get better.

Palace and Brentford. At times last season, Forest too.
-
No just questioned, seriously questioned.

Other than Burn at LB (where he has played before) are there any other examples of him doing this?
