  1. Wouldn't say it's particularly defensive, just a different system to get bodies in and around Big Nick.
  2. The two best defences in the league to date, one struggling to create, the other with an emphasis on set pieces. Also, home advantage to the team with less technical quality giving them an extra spring in their step: 0-0
  3. NO bingo in full flow here. Shit pants over Sunderland Wank off Anderson Worry about the table a handful of games in
  4. There is like. Looks unlikely at the moment, but there's definitely a chance.
  5. Yet another goal keeping error in favour of this lot, the sweaty tramps.
  6. At present, Woltemade doesn't have the attributes of a penalty box striker, but it's way too early to say it can't be coached into him. Isak improve immeasurably in that area over the last year and half, for example. In the meantime he should thrive at arriving late and feeding the wingers from a deeper position, particularly when even Wissa has played wide right a fair bit for Brentford. As with Elanga it's all just going to take a bit of time to build relationships and patterns of play.
  7. Hope saying his exit waa pulled by PIF because a sale with an buyback was renegotiated to a £6 million loan with an option to buy.
  8. We're fine without him, but far better with him.
  9. He's our best defender by a distance. We simply have to find a way to get him into the side.
  10. It's class having a squad like. Can't remember the last time we had this much depth.
  11. Early days, but very promising.
  12. So it's nice to have a keeper who's decent with the ball at his feet... ...but one thing I've noticed about him since his Arsenal days is that I'm not always convinced he knows where the goal is. He seems to lose his posts at times
  13. He's had a return inconsistent start in an unsettled forward line, but you can see what he brings to the party.
  14. No more than anyone else. I know he's the latest local lad everyone is gagging to get stuck into, but he's been pretty good.
  15. When we learn how to utilise him, he's going to be lethal. Like the strikers, it'll take a bit of time for him to bed in.
  16. It's good defending. The centre back just gives Elanga a nudge before the ball comes to him so he's completely off balance when it arrives to him.
  17. Depends what we mean by a "signing like him". I was pretty much thinking similar profiles more than anything.
