  1. I'd go... Pope Thiaw, Burn, Botman Tino, Tonali, Big Joe, Hall Elanga, Wolt, Gordon
  2. Aye, I'd take a point. Going to a bit of bogey ground after a big physical effort on a Thursday night is going to be a slog.
  3. Hence after the first twenty minutes. I agree they rode their luck beforehand.
  4. It's standard fare after a defeat.
  5. ...but it completely nullified our press and led to an overload down their right hand side leading to the first goal. We had them on the ropes first twenty and could have taken the lead, but after that it was petty much a textbook away performance.
  6. Our best chance to was to press them early and exploit their high line. Gordon gave us a greater chance of doing that. Nick will be great, but he's still learning the system and building up his fitness.
  7. Them having control of the game for circa an hour had nothing to do with why they won?
  8. Made sense to start him and he led the press well in the first twenty minutes. He is a massive confidence player though and as soon as a few things didn't come off, including a fluffed chance, his head seemed to go down and the intensity went. Hopefully that goal will do him some good.
  9. Thought the tactics were fine. Was a bit bemused by Elanga coming off on the hour mark, but decent other than that.
  10. They lacked some magic up top, but Pedri and De Jong put on a clinic. We couldn't get near them at times.
  11. Miley is no where near the level of Tonali or Bruno. By all means give him more minutes this season, but given Bournemouth's physicality, I'm not sure this is the one.
  12. Had his full back on toast.
  13. He doesn't have too many options in midfield.
  14. Pedri was sickeningly good once he settled.
  15. Good effort. No shame in losing to a seasoned Champions League veteran. We started really well and could have easily gone ahead, but after the half hour mark they tool control and never really looked back. The new format reduces the jeopardy at least, as long as we stick some points on the board between now and PSG.
  16. First error from Willock and we're hounding him out. Yuuurs.
  17. Willock has been alright since he came on.
  18. Very typical of our games so far this season. Both sides look a bit clueless in the final third with Rashford and Gordon struggling a bit. Elanga has been great, he probably should have an assist from that Barnes effort.
  19. Aye, he always looks a terrible footballer but Juve create so many chances he's always liable to shin one in.
  20. Who'd have had Big Lloyd down as a bagsman.
  21. Good job they aren't reinforcing the inequality with coefficient payments.
