The game plan was fine. We were let down by individual errors again. The first goal was as soft as fuck and Wilson missed a sitter.
-
Very passive game, Liverpool did what they had to do without either team breaking out of second gear. They're clearly better than us, but I'll be livid if we give them a soft, unforced goal in the final like we did for the first tonight. This game won't make or break our season, but Sunday might. Cut out the silly errors please.
-
He's also said it about players who've been back in a few days. The early reports are encouraging.
-
Think the general system has been fine tonight.
-
We are missing three of our best plsyers mind. Our odds dramatically decrease without Isak.
-
Isak will get chances in the final with the space in behind.
-
Got to get that on target.

Same gong was being said about Tonali at the weekend. Let's wait and see.
-
I'd imagine he'll be back for West Ham at the latest. Howe doesn't like regulars sitting out for too long.
-
Nah, we'll stick Gordon up top and bring Barnes on I imagine.

Is a "slight groin issue" just Howeish for he's being rested? -

We need to be going there to get something and I'm that's the intent. But let's not pretend anyone regularly picks up points at Anfield. Even an absolute dominant City side struggled with it. -

Liverpool away? I know we have a particularly bad record there, but it's a nightmare for most teams. -

Might as well tell Eddie and the lads to cancel the trip to Wembley. -

Aye, that Forest win was yuge. Effectively makes this a free hit. -
I'm shocked anyone would put him below a B tbh, he's clearly better than "solid". Bare in mind last season he played while injured, in a team decimated by injury and shipping goals for fun.
-
B+ When he's fully it he's one of the best CBs in the league. Brilliant reader of the game and excellent with the ball at his feet, he has the potential to get better too.
