That's only one factor though. Spurs and West Ham both have to pick up eight points a piece too.
-
We're not going down man, granted I might be worried if there wasn't only four games left.
-
At least you do what you say on the tin.

Spurs back in the drop zone, happy days.

4-3-3 Burn at left back, extra protection from set pieces. Willock wide left. It's nothing particularly new. -
Seems the bar for 4th is going to be a bit lower this year.

The ones that recently beat Liverpool and Villa.

I see your game. Agreed, it's nailed on.
-
Not sure about that, depends which Wolves turn up.

There's a section of the support that are neither on the fence and are fully aware of what a terrible end to the season we're having, but would like Howe to be here for any rebuild. I probably fall into that camp, mainly because I don't think a managerial change will move the needle that much. Especially this summer, where we're probably at the back of the queue behind Real, Chelsea Man United, along with potentially City and Arsenal.
-
What penny do they need to drop though? Surely everyone sees we're in rotten form?
-
That was the season to sell Almiron, for me at least. But then we did desperately need a CM and defensive cover iirc.
-
I don't think there's a penny to drop, we're pretty much at wheels off territory as it is. At this point, you either think Howe is the man to coach a bit of a rebuild or we should part ways and give someone else a crack at it.
-
Does anyone actually believe both West Ham and Spurs could overtake us though?
-
Lads. Hate watching is one of the last few sacred enjoyments we have this season. They don't have to become a pity party.

It could well just be Howe being Howe.
-
What if Woltamade comes good next season?

Generally speaking, a good Sporting Director will recruit coaches and players with a specific style in mind to provide continuity and prevent huge amounts of upheaval.
-
Poor Jacob catching strays again.
-
Probably, still think we'll try.

Most inevitable transfer of the summer. Convinced him and Anderson will be top targets.
