  1. They're not bad footballers either.
  2. Wissa looked a good fit, as did JSL. Due to the situation we were we were always going to grossly overpay for either. The biggest red flag for me was the striking and resulting lack or pre-season. It's kiboshed his and to an extent our season.
  3. If that's the bar, we'll most likely be going through a lot of managers.
  4. Alright Richie Rich.
  5. Coming off Twitter was such a good life choice.
  6. It's just referring to when a player is sold below book value.
  7. She did, but it's inevitable.
  8. Under SCR, any revenue from sales is averaged out over s three year period. Under PSR it was recorded immediately. As the shadow SCR rules were in place last year and PSR will fell away, Isak's sale will still role into the books for the next two years. Also if we miss out on Europe, SCR climbs from 70% to 85%. I don’t want to argue the toss on signings, but there's no doubt a couple of last summer's recruits could end up being duds. For me at least, that's mainly on PIF. Going forward though, it's not all doom and gloom.
  9. Ifs, buts and maybe. But in a parallel universe I'm happily married to Anne Hathaway, we live in New Zealand near the beach, Mike sends me death threats. I just needed one quality window and to look like Adam Shulman. Alas.
  10. Do the board care that much about the insane diatribe our social media following our spewing?
  11. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2026/03/29/richard-keys-interview-truth-about-wife-sky-bein-bullying/ Ah, we're rehabilitating Richy K's character now. Which cushy gig does he have coming up?
  12. Fair enough. He has evolved though. In 21/22, we played block and counter. In 22/23 and 23/24, we played an aggressive high press. In 24/25, we started with the high press, but reverted back to a direct 21/22 hybrid. This season we've tried and at times failed to implement a more possession based system. That's the broad strokes of it. On a granular level there have been all kinds of adjustments to our game both on and off the ball, which I'm sure have been the subject of nerdy YouTube videos. Yes, the key tenets of Howe's style have been 4-3-3, a man-to-man press and attacking transitions, but pretty much every manager under the sun will have core principles. Klopp sides will press, Pep sides will suffocate the attacking third, Enrique sides are very direct. Again, broad strokes, but you get the idea.
  13. What would a Howe power grab have looked like?
  14. His sides are always really fun to watch, but are always so open. I'm not sure how that translates to a transition heavy Premier Leagues. That's if he keeps them up of course.
  15. Hopefully he decides to stay.
  16. Someone might need to work their magic to get round the paywall.
  17. That doesn't scream Howe will definitely be our manager next season like.
