He was absolutely superb. Watched him enough times for Milan to know we had a top player that would do well in this league but in pre season he didn't seem fully up to speed, thought it might take him some time. As a result I thought Anderson or Longstaff would start. Clearly Howe knows what he's doing because he was excellent.
-
Really good game, delighted he got an assist because there are people out there will only look at G+A returns I think goals is the area of his game that is lacking but hopefully the more he grows in confidence that will come
-
Definitely need another goal as I can see us conceding another
-
I don't get the thinking If he doesn't take Miggy out then surely he has a shot on goal, that's literally denying a goalscoring opportunity From that position having a few other defenders further along is irrelevant

Atmosphere seems immense -
Higher xG in both games Maybe the luck of their late winners from last season is being paid back now
-
Cracking assist from the Luton player

He has missed games during pre season so wonder if he's fully fit yet -
They clearly don't care about enforcing the one person in the technical area rule so we should carry on as we were However, wouldn't surprise me if they decide to enforce it in our game, the rule seemed like it was aimed at Tindall
-
Saliba assist for Saka, with clean sheet Was going really well but they concede a goal to get rid of clean sheet and now I'm seeing Pedro miss a sitter FPL exists just to annoy you
-
That was class from Martinelli
-
Oh Johnson, should be doing better (even if it meant Saliba clean sheet was in the mud)
-
Actually, it was his assistant I thought two coaches weren't allowed in the technical area?
-
Steve Cooper just kicked an extra ball on the pitch, no punishment. Would Tindall be let off if he did that?
-
If he was a midfielder or attacker that could be the danger but unlikely he comes on (unless there is an injury)

Barnes finishing is so much better than Gordon it would be a mistake to not pick him For me it has to be Barnes, Isak, Miggy as the front three -
On the criticism of Shearer being narrator, I don't get it I barely notice it, now that probably says more about me and my ability to focus but I just concentrate on what I'm seeing and hearing from those on the screen, what Shearer says and how he says it is not something I particularly noticed

Some knacker tried to get on to the pitch but was stopped

I've been a fan of Pep for ages (goes back to his Barca days) so find a lot of the comments strange I think he's a saint when compared to someone like Klopp The games we've taken points from City he's been complimentary about us, whereas other managers talk shite
-
I get it's not really the main point you are making but their second eleven wouldn't win the league Probably even struggle to get top 4
-
City very sloppy, if Burnley had a bit more cutting edge they'd be level by now
-
Already 2-0, both calls for Firmino
-
I like Caicdeo, top player that will get better but £110m seems a bit mad and obviously ironic it's the club with low ceilings making that bid No doubt Liverpool fans/pundits will spin this deal if it goes ahead, you'll see them refer to Caicedo/MacAllister as a combined £140m-150m and try to justify it that way

I enjoyed it, always like to see behind the scenes stuff. Does seem like they've blitzed through the season, basically late Feb after episode one so will be interesting to see how they cover the next 3.
