Watched him enough times for Milan to know we had a top player that would do well in this league but in pre season he didn't seem fully up to speed, thought it might take him some time. As a result I thought Anderson or Longstaff would start. Clearly Howe knows what he's doing because he was excellent.

On the criticism of Shearer being narrator, I don't get it I barely notice it, now that probably says more about me and my ability to focus but I just concentrate on what I'm seeing and hearing from those on the screen, what Shearer says and how he says it is not something I particularly noticed
