Get in Mitro
-
Nah, that's a pen Though VAR tried there best to deny it
-
Pen to Fulham, Mitro fouled by VVD
-
Nunez had the last touch so it's his goal, had to see the slow mo to really tell
-
It's the quality difference though
-
Liverpool already used 3 of their subs, really don't like this 5 sub rule
-
Ah, so unlucky, Fulham hit the post
-
Some lovely play from Mitro there
-
Diaz is being given far too much space by the RB, feel the equaliser will come from that side

Newcastle United vs. Notts Forest: 06/08/2022 @ 3pm (No UK TV)

Not too fussed about that as I don't think there is a huge amount that separates them I certainly don't see it as an obvious upgrade like Burn to Botman is -

I think the following is what he'll go with Dubravka Trippier-Schar-Burn-Targett Bruno-Longstaff-Joelinton Almiron-Wilson-ASM But I'd like to see Botman start and Willock over Longstaff -
Surely he would only be a backup for that spot and primarily compete with Chilwell for LB? Silva-Koulibaly-newCB/Azpi is what I reckon the back 3 will be
-
Because Clearlake Capital are an investment firm that manages money for lots and lots of companies/individuals The article states no investment exceeds 5% so that's the max PIF will have
-
Yep, a non-story really but makes for a fun headline
-
Seemed obvious and inevitable to me, sensible decision all round Glad to see we are being ran like a normal club
-
The £20m thing could well be true, who knows but if it is not sure why it is a concern Since the owners have come in it's not only transfers we have spent/committed to, there's all the other stuff such as the extra staff we've taken on (proper staff, not doylems like Charnley) and the money spent on the stadium/training ground. Ultimately, our revenues need to increase and that's not an overnight thing, I do think patience for a few years is needed

Elliot Anderson (now playing for Nottingham Forest)
Geordie Ahmed replied to joeyt's topic in Football
Agreed I think him playing 90 mins every week at a higher level than last season is better for his development, more than coming off the bench later on in games -
Covid is still around so that's an excuse covered for another set of accounts
-
Why are they different? Brighton could have their own reasons for saying nothing is agreed. If the deal goes through in the next few days then Fabirzio was right
-
Lyon also offered a denial when it came to Bruno Wouldn't be surprised if the deal goes through in the next 24-48 hours
-
Fair point, my knowledge of Shrewsbury is restricted to their doylem looking lion on their crest
-
He couldn't get a game for League 2 Shrewsbury so Championship is probably pushing it
-
Yeah they sold Aribo and Bassey, got decent money for them, around £30m Not sure if they've spent much of it, probably waiting to see if they get into the CL first
-
James Maddison (now playing for Tottenham Hotspur)
Geordie Ahmed replied to The Prophet's topic in Football
I'm a big fan of his, stock was highest when they played City in the CL and he was fantastic, form has dropped a bit since then but still a fantastic footballer I would be over the moon if we went for him as an alternative to Maddison
