I think Ten Hag is their best appointment since Fergie and he's come in now at a decent time, they've tried the really big names (Mourinho, Van Gal) and the local hero (Solskjaer) and it hasn't worked out Ten Hag is a quality coach and I think given time he will improve them, the only question mark is how patient will the club be with hi? If he doesn't get top 4 in his first season they need to still give him time, Liverpool finished 8th in Klopps first season and there was no danger of him being sacked. He's amazing and not in the slightest bit surprised. To already have 3 goal though, that is a pleasant surprise and hopefully it's something he'll do consistently. Have to say, it's worth calling out the confidence/trust he had in joining the club. A few months ago many of us (myself included) thought it was quite likely we were down and we know of reports players didn't want to join us due to our league position. He however made that move, despite the fact if he waited until the summer he could still have gotten himself a move (here or elsewhere) and deserves a lot of credit for having that confidence.
