So they've handed Howe the following
Trippier
Wood
Bruno
Targett
Burn
Think Lingard would have been very good but think they've given Howe enough to keep us up. He shouldn't be in a situation where he has to play Clark or Ritchie at left back.
So it's on him to ensure we finish top of the mini league.

Don’t want any player that wouldn’t sign for us in January…..if we do stay up our new transfer targets will be a step up from the ones we’ve been looking at this month…..so tough luck Botman, Carlos and anyone else who has turned us down…..you’ll look back in years to come of what might have been….tough shit
Botman and Carlos didn't reject us though

What league are they in?

So much for the surprise.
Maybe the surprise is how quickly it fizzled out

It's possible that Howe thought he can send Lewis off to get some games and be ready to fight for the position in the summer. What if Lewis said, "I want to stay and fight for the job", and Howe says, "You're on" and he deregisters Ritchie or Dummett. Dummett's always crocked, Ritchie's days as winger are long gone. Murphy can take Ritchie's spot as the all around wide guy - he won't be needed as an RB so he can start retraining to deputy both wings.
This is a possibility but I'd be surprised
Guess we'll find out once the squad is submitted

Had an operation. Is he out for the season?
I think 2 months was mentioned so probably back around the time Wilson is

Gayle?
If Wood gets injured then it's back to ASM playing up front

It speaks volumes about players not wanting to play football
Unless the loan was on the basis they took a pay cut (unlikely)

Gillespie?
Nah, they'll not risk 2 senior keepers and a kid

Hope suggests Clark and Lewis have lost their places.
Woodman is gone
Hendrick is going.
One more player will miss out.
Most likely Hayden since he's injured anyway

Not going to accept loan if Everton are willing to buy him
I guess the hope is the player prefers to play for us

Yeah, the Zapata comment just reeks of Sky Sports keeping viewers glued to the end and if they think I'm going to fall for that then they are absolutely right
-
I'm happy that it doesn't include an obligation or even option to buy
He'll do a job until the summer and if we stay up then we can targett a better left back

I can't believe I'm going to continue watching this throughout the day
Same, it's been on since 9am and it's staying on even with utter crap from Merson

I can't believe this is a thing. is he getting paid for this?
Can't be getting much like

Apparently he can only say hit if we stay up and none of our signings are breath taking, only a hit if we get Lingard
-
This is the content we all want to see, Paul Merson judging each clubs transfer windows as a hit or miss
-
Paul Merson is such a knacker
Says it's not a good deal for Lingard cos he could be playing in the championship, has to back track when the presenter says it's looking to be a loan move
-
If we can get Lingard then not too fussed about missing out on him
Whilst he's got something about him, we aren't missing out on a generational talent

Going to save my RTG nufc sportswashing browse up today and look at it tonight to see our transfers unravel from the eyes of rivals views I'm sure it will be a great comedy.
I can save you the time, all our signings are shit and they have no morals

if we stay up we won’t be as desperate so I don’t believe it will set a precedent. I think we’ve shown we are more than happy to walk away from deals so far.
who knows we might even persuade lingard to stay on (it worked for Rafa and willock) and get him on a free in the summer. Wouldn’t seem such a bad deal then
I think we've done the right thing to walk away, if the deal happens it will be Man-U calling us and being more sensible

Much better players will cost a lot more
Ultimately if we rate him and we stay up, we'll go back in for him
