He’s currently under police investigation. He hasn’t been charged and there isn’t currently a court case.
Yes, you are right, he's under investigation, still a big risk to take

Yeah, Fofana and Kamara can easily play in the same midfield as they are very different players
Just signing those two transforms our team tenfold

A few rumours knocking about that Villa have bid for Bissouma.
Canny brave move that would be considering he has a pending court case

He came off at half-time with a groin injury.
Ah so he did, fotmob app clearly wrong then

He went off last weekend with a tight groin did he not?
Played the full 90 minutes in their FA Cup match on Saturday

Hopefully we have some agreement in place for him to get a decent amount of minutes
Looking at the table they are in between relegation and play off spots, likely to stay around there so it's not a bad club to join as that should mean he can get a run of games as there won't be significant pressure

I suspect people have actually watched Toney and seen his contribution to the team, as well as his potential. Believe it or not it's not just about the goals - Wood has been really poor this season.
And Wood also offers something aside from goals
He's brilliant in the air and he does well to hold up the ball and allow others in to play
It's key we get players in and around him
-
It's not my money so not fussed, the main question is does he improve our team/squad? And the answer is yes
Plus Trippier crosses to Wood is potentially what keeps us up
People go on about him scoring only 3 goals, I wonder if the reaction from those being negative about this would have been the same if we signed Toney? I mean the guy has 4 goals (2 of which were penalties) this season
-
Not sure if it's been mentioned or even if it's relevant but at their place, we drew 1-1 and we were the better team and should have won. That was without Wilson and with Ritchie at left back

All I know is this Amazon documentary is going to be very interesting, hopefully in a good way and not STID way...
Has there been official confirmation that there will be an Amazon documentary?

Badiashile is out for 6 weeks so that rules him out

He is a bellend but tbf it's a stupid question. Christ, it's barely even a question, more of an observation. He's reacted badly to it obviously but I don't blame him in some ways.
The question is a bit off but he could easily just brush it off as "Yes, the Premier League is tough, we know this as there are no easy games" and then everyone moves on
Instead he's reacted like a bellend
I used to like Klopp and still a big fan of him as a manager/coach but as time has gone on I can't stand him, he's moaning about one thing or another

Then sign someone else, even some who is better than Clark would do it.
buffer man, we need buffer.
Maybe they don't want to just settle for "better than Clark", maybe they feel waiting a few weeks and getting a much better calibre of player is worth
It seems risky but perhaps that's the approach they are going with

Yeah don't Watford have some weird pact with Udinese also
It's owned by the same family so it's not a normal transfer

Lille keep on adjusting the price base on our transfer news every day. Just like someone said if we already get Carlos, who give a shit for Botman?
If I am Lille I will try to sell Botman to Newcastle “when his value is the highest in Newcastle’s shoes”.
That’s why we fucking need to secure some before the window opens. That’s the buffer man...every one know we don’t now.
And that answer to that is during the transfer window and not before it

Then tell me why could Watford bring in a few bodies already?
Few bodies?
They've made 3 signings, 1 of which is a kid. And 1 of which was from Udinese. So really it's 1 signing, similar to us

Slightly worrying if we are messing about offering below the value of the player, we are in a desperate situation and have plenty of money, I agree you don't want to be ripped off but if we are offering "slightly below" the asking price then I don't see how that is helping anyone,
In this situation if he is suspended for Watford as some have suggested then getting him signed in the next few days isn't crucial
Obviously there is a separate situation where we ideally need a striker in time for Watford otherwise we'll struggle to score

It makes the matter worse and worse man. The later you make the bid the higher the cost it would be. Before Jan if you throw 40m to Lille I guarantee you Botman would be here already. Now they are waiting for 50m, or even 60m at 31 Jan.
I ain’t asking several class or marquee signings but at least some bodies that are capable to do a short-term job, cover several key areas etc so that we aren’t in such a bad shape aka now.
This is not about poker. This is simply project management. We have absolutely no buffer now.How on earth can you guarantee that?
If you put yourself in Lille's shoes and someone bids 40m for Botman, do you accept it or think "We'll wait, his price can only go up"?

I said we need to secure a few signings before the window opens or else we would be in trouble. And some people asking where’s my diapers.
See? Every team are holding us ransom now. That’s the consequence. If teams are holding us to ransom what makes you think they would have accepted bids before the window opened? That's illogical

I'm going out on a limb here, but there's no way an Iranian player would be granted a work permit quick enough for the next game. Probably not the one after either.
Why would him being Iranian matter?
Coutinho for example is awaiting a work permit and Gerrard reckons he could be training with Villa by Wednesday
Obviously if we wanted Azmoun for Watford we'd need to get a move on

I don't think we can risk it - either throw in a daft offer or move onto other targets. Trippier was a great start but we are 10 days into the transfer window and momentum seems to have stalled. Watford have strengthened more than us so far this window.
1 of their signings was from Udinese
-
I know a few people had mentioned we should go for Belotti, guess moves like this are not likely to happen until we are safe or promoted
-
Was Shaw catching Konsa in the face not a foul? Don't think it was even checked was it?

Are we submitting bids in the correct currency?

Nope, not sure how people keep getting it wrong like but the deadline is tomorrow
The Brighton-Palace game is irrelevant as we don't intend on playing him in that fixture
