Looking at the table they are in between relegation and play off spots, likely to stay around there so it's not a bad club to join as that should mean he can get a run of games as there won't be significant pressure

People go on about him scoring only 3 goals, I wonder if the reaction from those being negative about this would have been the same if we signed Toney? I mean the guy has 4 goals (2 of which were penalties) this season

Not sure if it's been mentioned or even if it's relevant but at their place, we drew 1-1 and we were the better team and should have won. That was without Wilson and with Ritchie at left back

I ain’t asking several class or marquee signings but at least some bodies that are capable to do a short-term job, cover several key areas etc so that we aren’t in such a bad shape aka now.

How on earth can you guarantee that?

If you put yourself in Lille's shoes and someone bids 40m for Botman, do you accept it or think "We'll wait, his price can only go up"?
