Am I right in thinking that you can't reassign numbers mid-season?
Unless you are called Ronaldo

If the £13m is legit then that's a ridiculous price like.

If we go down and PIF walk away Staveley will just pull out another investor to back her. Probably get RB more involved. It's not the end of PCP even if PIF walk away. She's here now, she's fought with every inch of her soul to get the club, no way it leaves her hands for a very long time.
Ashley was holding us back, obviously wouldn't want PIF to walk away but it's not the disaster they are painting it to be but that's all part of their coping mechanism
Ashley going was the key and that's been done, we can finally move on, hopefully that is with PIF as potentially they can do things bigger and faster

But their hope, rightly or wrongly, is that if we get relegated PIF walk away.
That's what they're clinging to, to keep us away from any kind of success, hence why they're utterly desperate for us to go down.
If (I don't expect they will, but let's humour the mackem mindset here) PIF did walk, we were relegated and them promoted, we might well be competing on a much more even footing.
Of course they then need a lot of mental gymnastics to reconcile their desperation for PIF to walk with their insistence that them buying us has made us into scum who everyone hates and anything we achieve has lost any meaning ever again and they think it's brilliant. But that's mackematics for you.
If PIF did sell up, as long as it wasn't to Ashley I don't see how it is on an even footing, we are a bigger club and bigger draw than them
We just need someone to run the club to be the best it can be, obviously the money PIF have means potentially that can be a level much, much higher than we would get ordinarily

Also, in any deal there are numerous parties involved, why are people automatically having a go at the consortium and accusing them of leaking stuff
If it gets to the Watford game and we haven't signed anyone then I'll be concerned
-
Shaping up to be a 4 team mini league, if another team or two get dragged into it in 3-4 games time then happy days
We are in a better situation than I had expected, we could really do with getting a run of wins
-
I totally get why under Ashley people were angry, bitter and pessimistic but for people to still be so dramatic now is ridiculous
Though I guess it might take some time for old habits to die
-
That's a difficult one that
If we are wanting more teams to be involved (which is always preferred) then I'd say a Burnley win, otherwise a Leeds win puts them 8 clear of us but keeps Burnley right amongst it
Just hope it's a draw
-
I think he pretty much retired since he got that bumper new contract
Not sure he'd be up for a relegation battle and money won't be a factor as we'll not increase what he's getting at Arsenal
-
I went for Bowen captain instead of Antonio, hopefully it doesn't backfire

Great result today.
Anything but a Burnley win tomorrow and I’ll be delighted. Draw would probably be the best outcome, but I could live with Leeds winning. Burnley winning is a disaster imo.
I'm unsure what I would prefer but I don't see how Burnley winning is a disaster, it keeps Leeds well amongst it
Gives us huge incentive to win our next 2 games (Watford and Leeds)

Never a pen and booking Gabriel for kicking the pen spot is soft. Silva was diving before he even grabbed his shirt. Refs lost the plot looks like he's gonna cry
You don't think scuffing the penalty spot should be a yellow?
-
How can he possibly have any complaints about that?
Both yellow cards were blatant
-
Gabriel sent off, what a doylem
-
Wow, how did he miss that?
-
Well taken pen that
It's the shirt pull that was stupid, without that it's not overturned
-
Got a feeling City will miss this
-
Xhaka did something Clark would do
-
Arsenal deserve that

Arsenal playing really well here
-
Not given, lol what
-
Don't think Ederson got the ball, should be a pen that

I worry for them if we ever win a trophy like. They've already solved that early by claiming it doesn't count since it's tainted money, which would just make it even funnier ??

Not sure I would regard it as them fucking about. He's their player and they are entitled to either not sell him and/or push to get as much money as possible.
The ball really is very much in our court, we either up our bid or we move on.
