Mad how Toney got away with a blatant stamp there.
Aye, I know it's clichéd but if that's Shelvey he gets sent off

Isn't there allegedly something going on behind the scenes, with him?
Well he's currently on bail until early Jan

It's difficult to know what is realistic, our position in the table makes it so
I'm really looking forward to seeing what business we manage to do but I think the first window after it's confirmed we are a Premier League is when we'll really see big moves
-
Also we can make an argument that we picked up injuries as we've had to play 4 games in 15 days, meanwhile Everton have played 2 in that time
Southampton played 4 in 17 days but all were at home or in London
-
He is right injuries are not covid cases but the problem is the PL have not stipulated that, as long as there are covid cases they take players missing as a whole
It's ridiculous the outcry this has caused, no doubt we have used a loophole and did this to our benefit, though only after a number of clubs have already used said loophole
I agree that the PL should have forced all clubs to play, even if that meant youth players but they didn't and it would be naive and stupid of us to not take advantage

Closing in on 300 posts now.
And they've made a spreadsheet
Their reaction to this has made it even better
I like how this is proof that the PL stinks and therefore they are glad to be out of that league ??

Don't the Saudi's have financial involvement at ManUre?
They had a sponsorship deal with Saudi Telecom since 2008 and it was still in place as of 2017, not sure if that is still going
In 2017 they agreed a strategic partnership with the General Sports Authority of Saudi Arabia

They'll be buying other clubs eventually, it's what's Abu Dhabi and Qatar have done.
True, although Abu Dhabi have generally bought lower level clubs

I was so wrong about the Leicester CB's getting ruined, they were mostly good (obviously got away with the penalty)

Mackems have spent the last 4 years always having games in hand in their league, why are they upset?

I much prefer watching Liverpool, but Man City have a massive strength-in-depth advantage once over Chelsea, twice over Liverpool, and 3 or 4 times over everyone else. Look at the ridiculously small eye of the needle Liverpool threaded 2 seasons running and still only won the league once.
Personally I prefer watching City play, it's more controlled but I do get the appeal of Liverpool too
In any other time this Liverpool side wins the league year after year

Will Liverpool get another striker in Jan or will they hope Firmino/Origi will see them through the ACON?
I think they'll stick with what they have
Origi
Firmino
Jota
Minamino

Was thinking, Liverpool signed no one in the summer from the top of my head? If you look at the spend between them, it's a different playing field.
Just Konate wasn't it?
I felt lack of striker would eventually hurt City but overall that hasn't been the case yet (earlier on against Spurs and Southampton it seemed that way)

That Leicester defence against that Liverpool attack could get messy.
Aye, N'didi and Amartey at CB is asking to get ruined

Not sure if VAR could have got involved if the ref blew before the ball going into the net
I can't recall exactly when he blew but aye if he blew before then fair enough
-
Fwiw Clattenburg thinks it should have stood but understands why VAR didn't interfere
-
Goal disallowed but just looked like a Forster mistake to me
-
West Ham winning, get in
-
West Ham level, get in
-
West Ham having a lot of the ball but they look very vulnerable to the counter, can see Watford getting a second soon

McTominay is absolutely garbage. Offers absolutely nothing.
He’s not even young, he’s 25.
Still amazes me that he’s playing for Man Utd and not in the Championship.
That's actually shocked me, for some reason thought he was 22-23 at most

I don’t think it will be postponed like , sounds like Everton want to play it and they won’t cancel it for us if it’s just injuries and not Covid related .
I don't think the rule is that all the injuries have to be Covid related, at least some of them do
Because Everton had their game postponed against Burnley and their missing players included those injured and not just Covid ones
-
I wouldn't mind both being called off, get 2-3 signings done in time for Watford and then attack the second half of the season
Other games (2021/22)

Brentford still in the game and having a decent amount of possession, think City might need a second to win this
