But if he gets two yellow cards today it's only a one match ban and he'll avoid a two match ban
-
He's getting released at the end of the season, might just put some youngsters with more of a future on the bench
-
Mcmanaman kept going on about what a great save it was. If it was anyone else except a Liverpool keeper they'd have been calling him lucky
-
He's 28, god we're all old

Where's Jamie Sterry these days

Atalanta beating Liverpool

Used to love Gasperini's Atalanta when they had Zapata, Muriel and the legendary Papu Gomez Probably my favourite Italian team
-
Fenerbahce getting smashed by Olympiakos Only a Turkish team could have the names Ryan Kent, Michy Batshuayi, Leonardo Bonucci and Fred on their bench

I think he'll end up at Forest, Whittaker

It baffles me how anyone ever thought VAR would ever be any good for football. The technology works in tennis and cricket because they're pretty black and white decisions. The controversy in cricket is always when a human has to make a decision to see if someone has taken a catch cleanly or not, which again is down to opinion a lot of the time. Apart from goalline technology and to an extent offsides, it's always just going to be one person's opinion against another

Posted this nearly 2 years ago and nothings changed my love for him.

It's because they're all subjective calls. All you're doing is swapping an opinion of one human to the opinion of another human who can use technology. It's still someone's opinion against someone else's opinion at the end of the day That's why offsides can work because it's black and white. The bit where offside cause controversy is like the wolves one at the weekend where humans have to interpret whether they're interfering with the goalkeeper

Donarumma is a mess

"Fletch" wondering why it took them seconds to deem that not a red card but it would have been ages in the Prem - is he not realising it was the most obvious non-red card ever? They'd have waved it away in seconds in the Prem too

Winter is a great journalist and has a real soft spot for St James'/Newcastle

Why would they play conservatively if they were losing? I don't think I've ever seen a top manager/team given credit for not just accepting a defeat
