From Chris Coleman

Well done Chelsea. Nice to see Man Utd fail. Evra's penalty was laughable

Realy hope Nolan starts pushing forward into the box. I've no problem with him being in the team if he gets forward and gets his head on things. He can pick up some goals this season if he gets forward more ffs

Unless Harps is injured

Every time this thread is bumped, i get slightly nervous that e's gone to another team
-
Oh yeah, great win too. Ignore me then

Really looking forward to this, even though I know the attendance will be poor, but I'm quite optimistic after yesterday. No idea who will be here next weekend, but I'd probably go with the same team as yesterday, replacing Shola with Barton or Guthrie and play Nolan just off Carroll. Hope Harpers injury isn't bad news but KI would still like to see Krul in goal next week. Remember, we started with a 1-1 draw last year, then a 1-0 home win, but we ended up getting relegated. Reading drew 0-0 with Nottm Forest yesterday, and apparently Forest were poor. Howay the lads Warning: The last match thread I started we lost 6-1

Can't think of anything else which will bore me this Sunday afternoon than the Community Shield. Unless Owen misses a sitter, then I might have a good old chuckle

I love how the commentator said last night ''There are 2000 Newcastle fans here, and I bet hardly any of the knew who Tim Krul was beforehand'' which was absolute rubbish

Rough translation: Daniel Jarque, Espanyol player, died Saturday in the team's concentration in Coverziano (Italy). The player was talking on the phone with his girlfriend when for unknown reasons he suffered a heart attack and stopped talking. Corominas it and he told the officer, who rose to the footballer's room and found him unconscious. Despite moving to a nearby hospital could not revive him.
