Diaby looked really good for them I thought
-
Also the music from the PA system was ear piercingly loud today
-
We looked so fit and strong. Obviously Villa played into our hands second half with a calamitous high line and I thought Emery taking off Bailey for another centre mid was odd but we were great and could have had double figures
-
Was sure Tonali was booked after the Martinez debacle and then got another yellow as he left the field but must have been someone else who got booked

Thriller at St Mary's

Think @Froggy was his main critic
-
And he's brought Gabriel on for 5 mins
-
Seem to be allergic to playing strikers. Looks like it's Dack up front
-
Would like to see Coventry have another push for promotion. Seem to have spent the Gyökeres money well
-
He'll not play for them again

Nice to go into the season with optimism Remember when we played Arsenal first game and Bruce put Jetro Willems on centre mid then decided within about 30 seconds "it wasn't fair to put him centre mid on his debut" so tried to put him out wide and we conceded
-
Fletch having a field day with his pointless statistics "And that's the first corner of Arsenal's Premier League" "Aina picks up his first booking of the season"

Didn't realise Sheff Utd have signed Gustavo Hamer from Coventry. Good player

What's the weather like in Basingstoke Danny?

Thought Buendia was a huge part in them beating us at Villa Park so his absence could be good news for us

"HWTL" winds me up more than it should
-
Burnely surely need a striker. The lad Foster barely played for them last season and Jay Rodriguez is getting on
-
That's a huge captain choice
-
I just want to imagine every transfer negotiation is like Barry Fry's
-
Think we were quite heavily linked to Caceido before he went to Brighton
-
Is Joao Pedro likely to start for Brighton? I've got him and noticed a few others do but Brighton have Ferguson and Welbeck too who can play up front. Guess he'll play off the striker if he does play
