Incredibly harsh

Signing 14 year olds is proper grim. Appreciate it's just the norm in football though
-
Can't help but feel this might go the same as as the Maddison bid in the summer 2 years ago and we'll not get him. Thought he was really good in the Euros

Do you reckon they purposely waited until Edwards tweeted to say nothing is happening before leaking this

I think Crystal Plates might be my new FPL team name

I love those. Virgil Van Driver ffs

What are the rules on tapping up players these days? I'm not naive enough to think agents and clubs don't communicate but if players are rumoured to have agreed personal terms before a bid has been made and accepted by the club, is that technically not allowed

Burn played centre back when he joined, I'm not sure the plan was for him to play left back so much

I think it's quite modern, there's a few championship clubs who have signed Japanese players this summer and they're all mid 20s but it's only their second or third season in senior football.
-
Hasn't got a whole lot of relevance but I was reading that in Japan most of their players don't start playing first team football until about 23 or 24. So players like Mitoma are 27 but still really young in terms of "football years". Seems to be the opposite of everywhere else in the world

Any chance we have a sell on clause with Merino
-
Why? I think there's some odd aversion on here to Mbeumo and not sure why
