Swansea City Vs Newcastle United - Sat 13th Feb - 12:45 KO- Live on SKY

I had a dream we won 2-0 and Ranger scored both. -
Thankfully not had to miss anything important so far. My friend from work was having her baby christened when we played the mackems at home last season and just didn't bother inviting me. She was correct in thinking it was the best option, as I would've hated to turn her invitation down. Her husband was fucking foaming btw.

We know you're s*** man. Nah I only get mildly irritated when someone scores e.g. Lovenkrands and all of a sudden 5 people pop up who had him down as 1st scorer. No way would that have been mentioned if it hadn't come off. Noticed it a few times. used to work with a bloke who done it all the time with the horses (no...he didn't bet on them for first scorer!), when you'd see him in the tele room watching the racing on a saturday the only time he'd say he had a bet on was when he was awaiting the favourite as the last part in yankee or heinz and his others were in,which he'd never mentioned and no his slip was at home. Got a mate like that too. Normally when we meet before a match we'll discuss bets then as some will have just been to the bookies, he's always silent, then hours later on he'll suddenly pop up with "oh I just need City to win and I've got £50" or something. Wins big every time he goes to the casino on his own too.

Raspberry Ripple ice cream for me. Wispa for me. I think this defeat is all Jill's fault for not eating enough during the game tbh. Fear not, Saturday's game is better timed for a meal

too easy to manipulate. only way is to post before event time. Or also post any losing bets afterwards.

I wasn't going to have a drink, but a vodka & lemonade is rather tempting.

I thought Pom Bears wielded the best results. Do you have any? No, sorry. :undecided: Must re-stock.
-
I was going to save some pineapple for when I needed us to score, but I ate it earlier. Let me know if I need to eat a wispa/double decker.
-
Right, I've spent all day tidying the office for our visitors from Derby tomorrow, so I really need a fucking good result.

I didn't have much of a choice as my dad already had one daughter who'd showed no interest whatsoever. I was his last chance. Christmas 1992 he bought me a load of gear - shirt, shorts, socks, hat etc and offered to take me to a match. I agreed and went to my first one in 1993 (can remember very little about it other than I had an amazing time and didn't have my glasses with me so I could barely see ) All sort of spiralled out of control from there. I still hate my sister sometimes as she got off scot free.

Must admit, I'm shocking for this as well. The minute I win anything, I'm all "oooh I'll have a few quid on that" and piss it away because I'm betting on stuff I don't have a clue about.

Uuuuugh I did not need to see that again.

It's what several sources are saying though, that he tried to header the bin. My understanding is that when you 'header' something that the object in question is usually in the air and that bins normally reside on the ground. So who or what caused the bin to be in mid-air when he decided he was going to header it? Someone else threw it up in the air, apparently.

If Smudger scores, I'm on the pitch.

From a Blackburn forum. Regardless of what happened - RIP.

I hate how good Drogba is.

Aye. But when I have grandkids I'm gonna tell 'em I was there, anyway. Snap "But Grandad, you were only 12 at the time?" "Shut up Carol. Or Andrea'll sit on you."

Haven't actually missed any great games but almost missed the Barca game. I didn't get to many games around that time, but my dad had bought us tickets. I had a huge fight with my parents over something daft and I wasn't allowed to go until I'd apologised to my mam for being cheeky. I was a stubborn little shit, but my dad left it right until the last minute to set off. When the door slammed behind him I had this awful sinking feeling so quickly left my room, apologised to my mam (didn't even cross my fingers) and chased him down the street. As the goals went in I was so relieved. Usually if I turn down a game it'll be because I expect it'll be crap, and I'm quite often right.
