  1. I wasn't going to have a drink, but a vodka & lemonade is rather tempting.
  2. I thought Pom Bears wielded the best results. Do you have any? No, sorry. :undecided: Must re-stock.
  3. I was going to save some pineapple for when I needed us to score, but I ate it earlier. Let me know if I need to eat a wispa/double decker.
  4. Right, I've spent all day tidying the office for our visitors from Derby tomorrow, so I really need a fucking good result.
  5. I didn't have much of a choice as my dad already had one daughter who'd showed no interest whatsoever. I was his last chance. Christmas 1992 he bought me a load of gear - shirt, shorts, socks, hat etc and offered to take me to a match. I agreed and went to my first one in 1993 (can remember very little about it other than I had an amazing time and didn't have my glasses with me so I could barely see ) All sort of spiralled out of control from there. I still hate my sister sometimes as she got off scot free.
  6. Must admit, I'm shocking for this as well. The minute I win anything, I'm all "oooh I'll have a few quid on that" and piss it away because I'm betting on stuff I don't have a clue about.

    NUFC Songbook

Uuuuugh I did not need to see that again.
  8. It's what several sources are saying though, that he tried to header the bin. My understanding is that when you 'header' something that the object in question is usually in the air and that bins normally reside on the ground. So who or what caused the bin to be in mid-air when he decided he was going to header it? Someone else threw it up in the air, apparently.
  9. If Smudger scores, I'm on the pitch.
  10. From a Blackburn forum. Regardless of what happened - RIP.
  11. Aye. But when I have grandkids I'm gonna tell 'em I was there, anyway. Snap "But Grandad, you were only 12 at the time?" "Shut up Carol. Or Andrea'll sit on you."
  12. Haven't actually missed any great games but almost missed the Barca game. I didn't get to many games around that time, but my dad had bought us tickets. I had a huge fight with my parents over something daft and I wasn't allowed to go until I'd apologised to my mam for being cheeky. I was a stubborn little shit, but my dad left it right until the last minute to set off. When the door slammed behind him I had this awful sinking feeling so quickly left my room, apologised to my mam (didn't even cross my fingers) and chased him down the street. As the goals went in I was so relieved. Usually if I turn down a game it'll be because I expect it'll be crap, and I'm quite often right.

    Trouble at the match

I didn't see any trouble thankfully, though I think I narrowly avoided it when I spoke to some Cardiff fans later on in the evening who were from Shropshire. They didn't like my "Shropshire, what's the score?..." Made a quick exit..
  14. Need to spank them. I've got awful clients coming up from Derby on Wednesday and I will be feeling a lot more positive about it if we've given them a hiding.
  15. I'm the same. At 3-0 I was already mentally preparing myself for the disppointment of drawing 3-3 Same. I can remember bugger all apart from the goals. I know I enjoyed it though.
  16. Starting to really look forward to this now, I'm really hyper today. Hope I can lash a few pints down after work.
  17. Horrible news. RIP & condolences to Mr Sib.

    New Players

Voted Williamson, but I think Routledge could be important too.
  19. Going to the match on a Friday night, total headfuck. 2-1 win.
