  1. £2 Fulham & Leeds double tonight £1 West Brom/Boro/Cardiff/Forest/Bristol City for tomorrow
  2. I paid a quid to get in the supporters club. Wasn't bad actually, got a few funny looks for being wrapped in my Newcastle flag though.
  3. Jeez... 'I'm not betting for a while' she says... 'I should give it a rest' she says. SPINELESS! Not that I'm going to Coral tomorrow.... ..... I think I placed a bet the same night I said that, or at least the next day. This is just to use up the last few quid in my Paddy Power account. Off to Forest tomorrow anyway, so probably won't be keeping track of results.
  4. £1 - West Brom, Middlesbrough, Cardiff, Bristol City & Blackpool. £3 - Arsenal, Man U, Everton, MK Dons & Dagenham & Redbridge. £1 - Newcastle to win 2-0.
  5. I don't see why this isn't the first one we've organized, those who are down to play have been reliable in previous games. Book it then.
  6. Aye I'm stopping over with Forest supporting family, so really don't want to be on the losing side. Just in case though, I've already formulated plan B which will be to get very drunk and puke all over their carpet.
  7. Will next week when I've been paid.
  8. One word.... cunts. Trebles from 8 (6p per line): Greece, Serbia, Austria, Czech Rep, Israel, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Spain. I should not bet purely out of boredom. Never gets me anywhere. Alright then, it may get me somewhere. 7/8, not bad.

  10. I put a bet on in the end. Not going great though: Charlton/MK Dons/Bournemouth/Dag & Red. Just got £2 on.

^ What he said. Well done Carroll.
  12. I've given up for a bit. Done absolutely shite lately.
  13. Don't think I'll bother. I can take or leave international football.
  14. Same, can't wait. Hope we win, as I'd like to get one over my Nottingham-based extended family.
  15. 91p on us to win 7-0, because I had a random amount in my account and also a random hope for the scoreline.
  16. Stuff that, this is the most free advertising YouTube has ever had. I was chatting about it with some work colleagues and an older dear walked over and asked what we were talking about, I said "Youtube clips" and she said.. "ME tube? Well that can't be good"
  17. No: would rather move on from the whole Keegan thing altogether.
  18. I knew someone would point that out.

  20. Keegan claimed the rest of his NUFC contract (worth £8.5m) and his potential earnings over the next seven years at nearly £2.5m per year. Totalling about £25m, and based on loss of future earnings due to his reputation being ruined by NUFC's actions when he was employed by them. I don't see why it's despicable, he claimed what he (or more likely his lawyers) felt was the potential loss had this case tarnished his reputation as a top-level manager. Think this is something a lot of people are forgetting tbh. How are they forgetting it? There's NOTHING to indicate that his lawyers chose that amount. He'll have been told what the potential was, and gone ahead with it. Ok reading that back I picked a bad line to quote as it does imply his lawyers picked the amount. I meant people appear to be forgetting that he had legal representation and as such, would be more than likely pursuing the claim in the way they thought best.

  22. ""I very much regret that this claim ever had to go to the hearing as it did. I want to state categorically that the allegation that has been made in the press that I turned down an offer of £4 million to settle the claim is simply untrue. No such offer was made to me. " - Keegan's statement
