Report: Alan Smith to leave NUFC in January?
Super Duper Branko Strupar replied to Thespence's topic in Football
I dunno like mate. I'd pay you £50kpw to be Smith's replacement. You've got more chance of scoring. Fair enough, and just like wor lass, you'd get a good five mins out of me...and when I shoot, I score. Fuking hell, I should have just deleted this post like I nearly did 3 times there. You may not have the stamina but you have got the heart! "it's gonna be shit, but fuck it I'll do it anyway". -
It's an excellent move by the club. They're essentially taking out the fans' voice from within the club. If there are no little waterways for info to get out or disgruntled sentiments to get in, it's a nice little controllable group Ashley can set off and sit back and manage without much fear or uncertainty.

So very this. Not exactly a coup for Kronenbourg, getting Suggs to be in an advert and sing Baggy Trousers. not just suggs, some other madness memebers were there i think. and the motorhead "ace of spades" one worked so well. Aye, I had to turn it over. The Ace of Spades acoustic version was quality.

That's not a bad shout you know. I reckon we should wave him in front of his nose. Maybe put some BBQ sauce on Smith first. If you want to offload old players, SA is the guy to run to.

He gets them playing some nice football. He looks to have a nice balance of experience and youth in his team too. Doesn't surprise me that he's a good manager, he managed kids teams when he was playing for us, in fact, didn't he set up Walker Central? He did didn't he.

Would love to see Clarky in the Championship. Always had a soft spot for Huddersfield as well when they had Marcus Stewart, until he moved and went to to inbreds. -

Seriously, if you really think Seesengon over the course of his career is a better player than Ben Arfa you want to think before you make an even bigger fool of yourself. These moronic statements typify your football club and its inbred fans. -

You're wrong, look through this thread and it's certainly more than a 'handful' and I seen one even claiming he was worth 75mEUR in one post. He wouldn't be leaving CL football for lower half PL football if he had anything about him,I'm absolutely certain of that. You're a proper sloppy mess like. Like just a mix of bodily fluids, lazily rubbed in to the carpet with a foot. -
Barcelona win Champions League Final 10/11

You can cherry pick whichever statistics you want. Another one is that there has been at least 1 English teams in 5 of the last 6 European Cup finals. And most English teams treat the Europa League like a total inconvenience these days so what you're saying proves very little. No it doesn't. Prove it hat English teams treat it as nothing. As this season both Liverpool and city got knocked out playing their full teams. Those champs league statistics shows dominance of top 4 especially man utd in that time. Fact is though, the premiership is not the full hurrah many think it is. It is one of the best but it isn't certainly the standout league many think it is. Again you're choosing to ignore certain things, such as how ridiculously dominant Barcelona and Real Madrid now are in the Spanish league. The top 6 in England is pretty f***ing good if you ask me. Barcelona are just streets ahead of anyone at the minute though. Yes but again you are just looking at the stats regarding the champs league. The uefa cup for me is a measure of how the league is past the top 4. Real and barca are dominant, but so have Chelsea and Man Utd for which has passed some people by. What is the record of 3rd & 4th in La Liga in the CL? So your basing the strength of La Liga on the clubs that finish 5th, 6th & 7th in that league & then how well they do in the Europa/UEFA cup. Barca & Real blast through that league like Rangers & Celtic do the SPL. While on about the SPL both Rangers & Celtic have got to two recent Europa finals while no teams from France or Holland have is the SPL better than Ligue 1 & Erasdivse? Also you do realise the year Atlético Madrid beat Fulham in the final it was because they got knocked out the CL early doors. You already know the answer to that question -

Ben Arfa has never delivered though, ever since he was about 17 he has had the reputation of 'potential or 'one for the future' and has it all to prove still and if the reports are true about his injury then the jury is out even more. I realise it's not right too praise SAFC players on here but Sessegnon has done more in 5 month than Ben Arfa has done in a year and I find it hilarious how certain people on here take great delight in trying to slag Sessegnon off despite him doing far more in England than Ben Arfa has. We will see next season then but I'd be willing to stake large cash on Sessegnon outperforming Ben Arfa on goals and assists. I thought you Mackems were meant to be as passionate and knowledgeable about football as us, except you just had to put up with belonging to a proper hangin' city and football club? Unless you're horrific patter is just an exception to the rule? -
