tbqh I don't think the majority responsible for the twitter outbursts are actual full blown racists (for want of a better phrase), but merely thick, ignorant people with nothing better to do.

The club should be entitled to show support for their player, but they have gone way over the top and seemingly turned it into protest against the FA. The FA does need to take action against this 'protest', but calls for point deductions are extreme. The big question here is whether or not the actions of Liverpool FC instigated racist outbursts on twitter. I suspect that those responsible for the racist tweets would have gone along with it regardless of Liverpool FC's actions.

That person can barely string a word together. Doubt he understands anything below the surface of the issue.

It would be a decent short-term signing if it actually happens. Although, £8m does seem to be a little excessive for a 31 year old striker.

Heh, there was a debate on another forum about how big a head start a 3rd/4th tier club would need to be competitive against Barcelona. Most users said 10-15, but one semi-arrogant gambler/stat guy was adamant it'd be closer to 7. Dismissed.
