    Alan Pardew

People's overreactions in here are very spectacular
  2. So, he's not sorry. Entirely Simpson's fault; it went 'badly' because of his actions alone.

He's young and bound to be a bit daft from time to time. I expect this little outburst to become a bit of a nothingness and at least it shows that he wants to play.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

He did nothing because he had very little chance to do anything and you cannot comment on his tracking because you do not know what role Ben Arfa was player. He might have been instructed to sit in the gap and not track players... How do you know he hasn't sorted his 'defensive side'? Do you know something more than the rest of us? Do you think it is a coincidence that he is the only player who doesn't track players or press the ball and he is the player (despite him being talented going forward) who doesn't start? if you can watch the match you will see that trying to make solution stand Think I understand your post. But yeah Stozo, it could be a coincidence. Stop assuming.
  5. Has he apologized on twitter yet for his monumental fuck-up?

  7. Santon immediately tidied up our left side and stopped Downing and Johnson having such an easy ride. It was great to see.
  8. There was a moment in the second half where he received the ball with his back to goal, look right to see Johnson moving forward and duely passed the ball 5 yards behind Johnson and at far too fast a pace. A £35m player if there ever was one.
  9. Referee clearly saw it. Can't do a thing. They probably should, it's twice he's gone in dangerously with studs up this season.
  10. Or, if we play him alone, utilize his strengths and not shackle him to trying to get onto hoof-balls.
  11. Ever since Raylor has been used as a LB. Not true.
  12. Urgh, this is a horrid reaction. Thanks.
  13. Ryan has 2 assists in the last 2 games from wide positions. We have some threat.
  14. No he wasn't I actually smiled when he got the ball out wide and, now get this because it's fucking crazy... actually attempted to run at his full back.
  15. He shouldn't. Wouldn't have been an issue if Bellamy didn't have blood everywhere. Wouldn't be an issue if Bellamy wasn't 5 foot minus 7
  16. Probably needs a rest in all honesty. Oh wait, he can't have one...
  17. Taylor is actually competent in possession. Surprised you didn't pick Simpson as your reason, because that is the obvious (and accurate) choice.
  18. Cannot stretch games and relieve pressure from our box; prefer to cut inside and play little one-two's with our midfield than attack the full backs; offer little goal scoring threat; have poor crossing ability; do not utilize their pace... It goes on. We need to make an investment if we want to progress.
  19. Doesn't make attacking runs. Very strange for a wide midfielder.
  20. Proper manly defensive clearance. Really impressive.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

So, your point is what? And fwiw I think he was impressive for what little involvement he had.
