  1. Same team if possible. If Barton is injured then, erm. No idea.

Wiki has him scoring 193 goals in 192 games Actually wanted a real tally. He does have a good scoring record iirc
  4. Class above today. Jonas Smith Nolan Barton should dominate the division. Giddy
  5. Would be a massive blow to us if it was serious :/ If he's gonna play on the wing, he might as well stay injured. Was f***ing gash out there today. Apart from setting up the goal, Putting some great crosses in like the one Nolan and Carrol missed and making some generally nice play..... Apart from a decent cross or two, he did nowt out on the wing. Most of his play was in-field, where he really needs to be when he comes back from injury. There's no point in having him out wide. And as for the goal setting up and the nice play, I didn't say he was crap today. I said he was crap out on the wing, which he was. Nothing wrong with Barton playing narrow. Enabled Taylor to overlap a lot, which y'know helped us score a goal. Also having Barton, Nolan and Smith as a defensive unit should boss this division. Think we've found a balanced midfield lads

Don't get me started on the Enrique love

Probably found his level a la Shola. Good worker in midfield. Useless in the final third. At least both full backs are good crossers.
  8. Colo was great today. Dominant in open play when closing down. Still needs to learn to mark at set pieces and alike.
  9. Would be a massive blow to us if it was serious :/ If he's gonna play on the wing, he might as well stay injured. Was fucking gash out there today. Wrong.
  10. Would be a massive blow to us if it was serious :/ It would yes but we do have Guthrie to come back soon. Guthrie is good. But Barton is on another level in this league. Worried that we might loose a few more players this week tbh
  11. Reading were awful Rubbish 4-5-1 system. Lads coaching management at its best there. We played well though. Jose is silky.
  12. Enrique is awesome. Such a silky touch. He didn't have a great game today, but never really looked threatened and did OK in defence. Maybe gave the ball away a few to many times in attack.
  13. you may have a point in krul being worthy of a run but saying he's showed more than harper has in 10 years is s*** of a high order. I'ts not tho man. Harper's never had reactions anything close to what we've seen of Krul in these 2 games. And it's not as if he hasn't had the chance. Nah harpers made a few class saves in his time. But his reflexes do look to have gone downhill recently, hed never have saved all 3 of those today. Not a chance. I agree with this. Harper's chance came too late
  14. Yeah it doesn't make sense does it? Stick a not in there and it will work for you and me.

    This thread amuses me greatly
  16. I actually want Krul to have a run in the first team. I can see a bright future for him if he keeps up his development.
  17. This basically. He did fantastically when it was a simple catch. As soon as there was some pressure and a few bodies in the way he was rash. Sort that out and there's no reason to drop Harper.
  18. Flapped at one or two? I fail to see how you can blame the defence for that. All about his decision making and today he was rash and he needs to improve.
  19. The disallowed goal? The cross prior to his 3rd or 4th save. Few other occasions too. And he did well when there was no pressure on him, but whenever the box was crowded he came out rashly.
  20. Stating the obvious tbh Krul was awful dealing with crosses.
  21. Heh. Carroll was fantastic today. Link him with a decent partner and we'll do OK this season.
