We've 60% of possession

Id rather he stay on after leicester

Beckham offers us something different on the wing, we should take him for that reason alone. We may easily come up against a competent fullback who could take our more direct skillful wingers out of the game. Having someone who can loop in beautiful crosses from most distances is always going to be a useful tool. No point having to many players who are very similar on the same side.

He's having a laugh... (Alan Carr's dad to be NUFC Chief Scout?)

Not really the sign of an owner whos looking to sell the club & not buy anyone in the summer. Reckon Ashleys having a rethink with this recent success? -
Did very well yesterday. He has potential if he keeps learning as he goes.

He needed to. He has been poor in last few games and I was starting to doubt him, others were too. Fair play to him for the goals so far today. Hope for more! Done quite well upfront with two recently though hasnt he. When you consider he scored two against west brom also. Seems like going upfront on his own might be limiting him more than we realise.

Has Guthrie done well in the middle then, or its all going through our wingers ?

Only just got in. 3-0??? Class. Carrolls goals good ?

Nolans definately gone downhill. When you consider the way he was sprinting about previously at start of the season, like Ameobis 2nd goal against reading. He had real determination, like he wanted to prove himself again. Now its almost as if hes proved what he wanted to, to the point of even being called the best player in the division & is just coasting along again waiting for things to just fall into the right place for him so he can use his "quality". Rather than driving himself to be the reason it happens as before.

A combined total of 7 penalties in your last 8 games with 5 being for you, should strike you as a slightly more severe statistic than those of a guy who falls down around the half way line. We get just as many fouls against us as are given. Your penalties (a massively more advantageous decision) arent being balanced out & the imbalance is taking place in much more important areas of the pitch. Ie stopping the opposition scoring unfairly & getting the easiest possible chances to go ahead down the other. I dont think its the same really. West brom have played better football than us several times this season, both of the league games id say you knocked it about better due to our lack of a central midfield. But you have been very very lucky over the last few games to still be in the title race. The Fa cup also.

I have several flatmates that happen to specifically watch portsmouths reserves & watford

My word. Impressively accurate isnt it

The main thing that annoys me about their penalties, is ofcourse the way their defence was with us. We could have had about 4. In their last 4 games theres been 6 pens, theyve given away 2 also. I doubt that theyre going softer on oppositions than theyre being treated.

Reading of the game, decision making, leadership etc Is that a joke? Only one player has ever called him a leader at nufc - you can guess who it is. As for the other two, Coloccini is as good in those respects imo. Seeing as he organised all of our defence I can quite easily say it isn't. I haven't seen any of these leadership qualities Coloccini's time here. And his decision making was one of his biggest weaknesses last year, got caught in two minds over if he should hold his position or attacking the ball quite a lot last year. And as we found out that hesitancy costs you in the Premiership. He still does. This is the main reason i criticize him, apart from the lack of Strength, pace & height. Basically the key attributes needed to be a solid central defender in the prem. I dont see his standard of intercepting & his reading of the game being any better than what Taylor or Williamson have shown. At the same time, both are better at everything else bar perhaps passing & calmness on the ball. Thats the one thing id give Colo. He'll need to step up still though a lot more to make up for his weaknesses.

4 points between us and 3rd now. Could be 1 after cardiff. So important that we get going again, massive now.

Good break from defoe

West brom take off their main threat Bednar and put on Miller again. Di matteo's nuts.
