He got 10 goals in 20 games worth of minutes last season, thats not to bad. We've seen with Ben Arfa theres more to a situation than stats, the context helps. Hes not going to be flying if hes given 20 minutes here & there in many matches as it looks. Quick check of the games & looks like he scored in most games in ligue 1 where he played 60+ minutes.

Pardew doesn't need to know the score man, he knows Colback was playing. He knows we got a result.

So who's on set pieces so far?

Fair play to them. Always manage to step up somehow dont they. Its almost annoying how consistantly good they are, really lovely people when i went over there though. Seem to love English people in my experience & they finally showed some emotion there at the end. Chuffed for them.

Main issue is just that we're not building any type of play for players to join & build on. Its all individual ability, we're back at the start once they go which clearly they will. Even if its fun for a season, wheres it going? The manager cant even work out corners after 3-4 seasons. De Jong & Cabella could be absolutely superb, some of the best we've ever seen & we'd just know they'll soon be off.

Personally think its possible for us to enjoy our football under Ashley, even if its as a side effect of him wanting to make money. I dont think that'll be consistantly possible under Pardew. Realistically its only in Ashleys benefit if we are an attractive side who do well. Both in terms of exposure for his brand, potential player values & the overall value of the club. He just has no idea of whats possible & likely buys into much of what Pardew says due to his willingness to keep a yes man around.
