There is something a bit wrong feeling about a player keeping you up & then getting rid. He probably wasnt good enough, but we are allowed to have a squad. Could've offered him another year on a lesser wage, would've been a nice gesture. Not that we need numbers as we never get injuries & always replace the numbers we let go.

Depends what you think is more likely surely. 1: Ashley accepts a loss &/or an investor sees potential in Newcastle in a lower division. 2: Mike Ashley randomly decides to sell a premiership club earning him a fortune for no reason whatsoever.

No guarantee but you think its likely he'd leave whilst sports direct is still getting exposure & the tv money is coming in? He clearly wont care unless he is negatively affected himself, only thing that will make him think.

Basically my thoughts completely. The only reason anyone cares about these games at the moment is because they actually matter again because theres a potential outcome. Our season is currently potentially more enjoyable because we have something to be saved from which creates emotion. People really need to consider the reality that facing relegation has made our season more interesting. We have nothing to play for the way we are run. We need to push closer to whatever will cause change in those who run it.

Dont get what you're all having a go at, he says he supports the protesting group but just doesnt like the idea of giving up on the club. Whats wrong with that.

Read he has a good relationship with Carr which is why he's being considered, someone who plays new signings consistantly in their correct positions would be a good start like. Pardew clearly didnt agree with Carr's appraisal of some we brought in, whatever bollocks they came out with.

He's a more consistent player in my book. Right but you're then ignoring the context of the sides theyre playing in. Real Madrid have more to share the load. The season Bale left spurs, he was winning games for them single handedly from 35 yards for fun. Last minute winners. Hazard is a great player, but hes not been close to that. Nor does he do more off the ball to suggest that assists/goals arent very relevant here. Dont really see how people can claim hes better & Id be interested to see the attributes he has over Bale, i cant see that many.
