  1. Conclusive or would you like a re-count?
  2. This system is much better. It's one of the major reasons why this forum is easy to navigate, efficient and streamlined in comparison to mongfests like RTG. When something happens the thread title is changed as an update to the discussion.
  3. The thread titles do get changed. Just hasn't happened yet.
  4. Bet you said that before the Arsenal and Sunderland games too. I knew we could get a result against Sunderland because they're shite. The QPR game was some of the most abject, miserably fucking shite football I've ever seen us play - polished over by the miraculous result and the knowledge that Pardew would surely make the required changes at the weekend. With the same line-up against Villa it will be the same outcome, only this time they've got attackers who can put the ball in the back of the net. We're destined to be stuck with fullbacks who the goalkeeper, centre backs and central midfielders are terrified to pass to - and rightly so. Left backs don't usually win or lose games directly, but having somebody like Ryan Taylor there has a knock on effect on the rest of the team's balance and ability to play good football. Which was clear as day against QPR. It's easy making har har sarcastic comments but I can't see how anybody who watched the QPR game could disagree with that statement. It's as if people have just blanked it from their memory already. I'm not usually one to be overly negative but I'm going to be declarative here and say that if Pardew plays the same line-up, we'll get beaten comfortably.
  5. I'd rather play with 10 men than field Alan Smith.
  6. Ferguson may not have experience but atleast he's actually a footballer.
  7. Laugh it up. Ryan Taylor plays we'll lose. The only hope for this game was that Pardew wised up and played the right players, now he doesn't even have that option.
  8. Denied international clearance to sign for Swansea.
  9. Weeks, possibly months of Ryan Taylor at left back. For fuck's sake.
  10. Ferguson looked fantastic on those highlights.
  11. Thought Inler was class tonight. City could have done with him in their midfield instead of Barry.
  12. Napoli holding up better than I thought they would. Seem to be constantly on the edge defensively but are breaking well.

    Alan Pardew

Yep, particularly the bit in bold.
  14. Pretty poor. £25 a ticket, so not ludicrous.
  15. Same here loved watching Silva/Aguero so far, with the added bonus of seeing how Napoli's attackers can handle playing them as well. Not often you get to see the likes of Cavani etc these days without watching boring Serie A.
  16. City vs Napoli is by far the best game on tonight. I'm hoping Napoli turn up and match them rather than getting rolled over, because it could be a cracking game.
  17. Yeah, same here. Looks a bit like a natural winger playing at fullback to me, very slight but comfortable on the ball and a canny crosser.
