  1. Agreed, would be better sending him for some r&r in Dubai with AC or a few days back in Spain. Simply irreplacable player, when we have no backup LB. I'd be tempted to keep Barton away from this one aswell. Carroll, Barton and José when fit are what I would call our absolutely vital players.
  2. Would be quite happy to see Muntari play next week, maybe even Sessegnon although i have to say i've never seen him play. Can't see Muntari's match fitness being that good, i might be wrong but don't think he's been playing every week for Inter and they don't have reserve teams in Italy(or didn't used to) and a highly charged derby game played at 100mph isn't really a game to be thrown into if your not fully fit. Crying with laughter at this post. Reckon we start Keane, Bentley and Larsson against them. Actually fuck it, we'll take Sessegnon as we were linked with him first. Anyone see a flaw in my plan? ANYONE? Are you really, though?
  3. There's no real continuity though using loans. Wellbeck and Onouha have done well but they're back to square one once they go back to their parent clubs. They did the same with Jonny Evans. He did really well, but they just buttered him up for Man U. Now with Welbeck the likelyhood is they're just turning him into a good player and once again see him go back leaving them looking for an expensive replacement. Onuoha they may end up with permanently, but his performances may only result in City asking for even more money than in the first place.
  4. He shouldn't be anywhere near this game IMO.
  5. They've balanced the books quite a bit aswell to be fair. Managing to get £8 million for Jones and robbing £3 million off Leicester for Waghorn. This means they actually made a profit in the latest transfer window, what is also worth noting however is that the use of the loan market will backfire on them. They will need to either replace or buy these players in the longterm.
  6. Benny. The useless shitcunt.
  7. I'd be more than happy to see Muntari make his debut vs us. The man is a headless chicken.
  8. Surely better off going for Adam if thats the type of player Pardew is looking for. Whelan and Adam are nothing alike. They're both ball central playing midfielders who can strike a football well but have limited physical attributes. They're very similar, except Charlie Adam is twice as good. ? Whelan is a tenacious centre midfielder in the Joey Barton mould. Him having "limited physical attributes" is pretty innacurate. Whelan is a midfield playmaker, just not a very good one. He's not that quick and not that strong, hence the limited physical attributes. Barton is hardly quick and strong is he? Him and Charlie Adam are not a million miles away in playing style, hardly 'nothing alike'.

  10. Based on what? A made up article without a single quote??????????? :dowie: :dowie: :dowie: You a bit simple or something mate?
  11. I'm interested. Why do they always say "Love owt like this me" and what the fuck is a "happy clappie" ?
  12. Yes to Sessegnon, no to Muntari.
  13. Just thinking, if the Mackems did sign Sessegnon and Shitari, they'd potentially have half their squad away at the ACN at some point. Not to mention the fact Onuoha has been touted for a Nigeria cap.
  14. Chelsea should go for him. If Arsenal weren't so well filled in the wide positions i'd say Arsenal should go for him. If City were to sell him, they'd do what they're doing with Given and only allow sale to 'lower' level clubs.
  15. (if Man City are indeed thick enough to sell Adam Johnson, Ashley should be getting his fucking wallet out immediately.)
  16. Mackems have now collectively convinced themselves the mystery player is Adam Johnson.
  17. What, with Lucio? Obviously not, the board made a great call in getting Lucio instead.
  18. Gabriele Oriali was also involved in transfers, but I believe he's since moved on. That first season Mou wanted to go 4-3-3 with Ibra flanked by two wingers. Both wingers flopped, philosphy changed and both Mancini and Quaresma barely played for the next year and a half.
  19. Correct. It's worth noting that Marco Branca does a lot of the transfer dealings. Often Mou would only ask for a type of player he wanted, for example at the start of last season he wanted a ball-playing central defender and asked for Carvalho since he knows him personally. Instead he got given Lucio.
  20. Infact, even your boy was worse. (Ricky Q)
