Agreed terms on the 16th November. He's going for his medical tomorrow.

The worst players in the Premiership this season, so far

No, and rightly so. -
I'm guessing this because Everton were linked with him today, then? Don't buy the quotes from Mowbray, you'd get a far more accurate picture from the Boro supporters who can't wait to see the back of him.

The same Wheater who looks out of his depth in the Championship? The same Wheater who is being outperformed by Matty Bates and Stephen McManus. Taylor is twice the defender Wheater is, and I don't particularly rate Taylor. He scored a few goals from set pieces and that seems to cloud the fact he was a major culprit defensively in sending Boro down in the first place.

Same as England.

scored twice v sunderland but had a poor game all the same. Bollocks did he. don't let the goals cloud your view of his overall game. I'm not. Shola has been awful this season, but he was definitely not vs Sunderland. I watched the match yesterday on Sky Player actually. Have to disagree from what i remember. he scored a pen...and he scored an albeit fantastic follow up shot but that really was all he did all game. Except play a big part in the second goal and assist the 5th? So 4 out of 5 goals he played a large part yet he had a poor game? Does not compute The secong goal which he was offside for... Fair play for the 5th goal but he's 6ft 4 he should be winning headers in the box. It's not just the goals. Watch the game again, his overall hold up and link play was very good all game. He even showed a turn of pace at numerous occasions. Shola is a dogshit player who is out of his depth, but he had a more than average game against Sunderland. -

It's probably worth noting that DJ Campbell and Luke Varney have looked like mid-level Premier League strikers playing for Blackpool this season. Neither are anywhere near that, it's a large case of the Blackpool players performing way above their natural ability level because of a healthy team scenario. -

If Balotelli is one of the worst players in the league then so is David Silva. -
Taylor > Wheater Carroll > Downing

Claimed an assist for Nolan's hattrick goal also. (I don't care if he was maybe going for goal) -

Balotelli has got what, 5 in 9 in all comps? Yeah, shocking. To League One you go Mario. -

No. -
Infact, the interview is on a certain video site.

Boyhood team isn't it? But I agree, would love him here and have a bit of pace and end product down the flanks. He said on Sky Sports interview after he scored vs us that he supported us as a boy. The bint asked him "That must be extra-special to score against them when you grew up supporting Sunderland" he responded with "I actually supported Newcastle as a boy". Or something like that anyway.
-
Nobody in either then? Guess he didn't bang down the door hard enough.

I'll leave it to Ronaldo, he'll like this one. I've had enough rants in the past about Lovenkrands playing wide positions.

I actually agree with everything you've said madras, except I think Colo has been good/very good in every game this season bar the Bolton game. I think the need for Taylor to be good on the ball is not as necessary when Coloccini is alongside him, negating that advantage that he has over Williamson. For me it's always going to be Coloccini plus another with the current roster of CBs we have. Second paragraph is absolutely spot on. We have a good nucleus of players and like many have said on here we're about 3 or 4 quality players in the right areas away from being a comfortable top half Premier League team.
-
I don't think his performances were adequate in the Premier League, I'm willing to right it off as down to the poor midfield infront of him and numerous poor defensive partners, though. I don't think he's anywhere near the defender Coloccini is, however, and has also done NOTHING to prove himself any better than Williamson. williamson has at best been ok this season, as taylor was in his prem seasons. i also see a vast overating of colo taking place. taking the good from all three would give us one very good centre half. Yes, I think Williamson's performances have probably been comparitive to Taylor's in the Premier League, I see little difference between them as players. I think you're underappreciating Coloccini, though. I'm pretty sure 90% would agree he is our best CB, nothing to do with him being overrated, just the general concensus reflecting each player's respective performances and importance to the team.

This is the way it appears to me.

Played a reasonable part in a treble winning size at 19, and not that many other candidates. Have you really seen enough of him to say "i really don't see what so special about him, overated as f***". My guess is no. He's a decent striker from what I've seen of him, which in fairness isn't all that much. I'd say he was worthy of winning, for the reasons you mentioned. He's a massive c*** though, and I can't stand him either on or off the pitch. It's rare that I say this, but I really don't want him to become a great footballer. He's very, very talented. He contributed 11 goals and 8 assists last season despite being a rotation player and playing often as one of Mou's defensive wingers. You just need to look at his goal against Rubin Kazan last season to see the raw talent he has. He has done this in his teens and despite seemingly never bothering his arse. He's more than a decent striker, even at this stage of his career. He is almost certainly the most colossal t*** every to grace a football pitch though.
