Ghana - Serbia I'm looking forward to, but then there's less of an intrigue about both teams for me because I watched them in friendlies just last week. As shit as we were - the US were even shitter. Two terrible technically inept teams.

But then Gerrard and Lampard were dogshit alongside each other today - once again. I disagree. Hawer man they were both poor. There was no combination between them and they were both unable to do what they do best. The amount of stray passes was infuriating. At the end of the day if sacrificing defensive cover (Barry) meant we could see Lampard and Gerrard both together at the top of their game then fair play, but it's pointless because it simply doesn't work. Gerrard and Lampard together in a 4-4-2 has proven to be square pegs in round holes far too often.
