Makes sense I guess because that will probably get the most out some of his best attributes (stamina and workrate).

Based on the system Maradona has supposedly settled on Jonas isn't gonna get anywhere near the attacking freedom he gets with us. He's basically just the workhorse for Messi.

Alves just fits that Barca system absolutely perfectly, getting free reign down that entire right hand side to do what he likes. His crossing is very hit and miss but he's still superb. I think Maicon at his best is a better player though.
