Have you watched much of PSG this season? Apart from the games against Barca in the CL I haven't been impressed with him really. He's clearly talented but its just fits and starts, the odd little cameo. At the Olympics I was very impressed.

Moreso than Lucas Moura, yes. Neymar has scored 136 goals for Santos and 20 for Brazil. He was the key player in leading Santos to the Libertadores. At this stage of their respective careers he has been far more productive both in goalscoring and creatively than Lucas has. Lucas is very talented but he's even rawer and less mature as a player than Neymar is - and hasn't been consistently productive at PSG or at Sao Paulo.

Was Lucas in the squad or not? He needs to be starting come next year IMO. Neymar has all of the hype but right now I think Lucas is a more dangerous player to have. Neymar is a far more refined player right now, and much more of a goalthreat. Lucas is still veryraw.

In terms of their players? Definitely not. The Mexican league is strong and they're all very strong technically when they play for the national team but they don't have anybody playing in top squads around Europe.

I think there's more chance of countries like Japan or Colombia making that breakthrough to become 'top tier'.

I'm looking at the current talent pool and struggling to see where the quality is that'll make US a genuine football force. People have been saying this a while, but apart from the odd player doing a decent job at midling European clubs there is nothing else. I'm not saying a generation won't come through, but there's not even really any signs of it happening.

You can't judge anything on friendlies. Guarentee it'll be different come next year. Not saying they'll win it, but there's no way they'll turn up and play so half-arsed and half-paced.
