The way they are all interacting with Carroll would tend to say something about the whole situation surely. Yes, I believe they're all happy we just scored. They don't have to celebrate with Carroll though do they? It's not like every team that scores a goal celebrates together.

simonbirdmirror: Carroll engulfed by team mates in celebration proving dressing room far from split. #nufc 1-0 16 for season. http://myloc.me/59Lms + #nufc subs mocking up a boxing match during half tim limber up. Inappropriate?

This is a false statement by the way. Homosexuality occurs in many vertibrates across the animal kingdom and there is actually a great deal of research showing the benefits from an evolutionary standpoint. Ok, that is fair, but surely you cannot dispute the fact that it is a deviant behaviour and that people who engage in it will always be otracised to some degree. That is just the fact of the matter. Deviant? You're either born gay or not, dude. There's nothing deviant about it. Do you know what the word means? It deviates from the norm....therefore it is deviant regardless of how one becomes this way. That is quite clear. It depends what you consider 'the norm' to be. It's normal to have different skin colours, hair colours, attitudes etc. why not different sexualities? Otherwise you could say black skin isn't normal or ginger hair isn't normal.

You'd love for us to sell him while people think he's great? Any reason for this? Gutted he's ahead of Lovenkrands in the scoring charts? Or just don't like the people praising him?
-
Do you even watch the games. How can you say he doesn't give 100%? Just because he wasn't brilliant on the wing, which he never has been, doesn't mean he isn't putting the effort in. I realise that just because he doesn't look good on the wing doesn't mean he's not putting the effort in. That's why I said: "he didn't seen to put 100% effort in on the wing, whether he looked good or not." I've already admitted he works his arse off when he's up front, I don't have any knives out for him, I just don't think he tried as hard as he could when stuck out in the wing.
-
He runs his bollocks off when up front but like I said, he didn't seen to put 100% effort in on the wing, whether he looked good or not. I'm not sure why you even bring up van Nistelrooy either, he's never been a player famed for his work rate, nor was he ever very fast. So, no, he probably wouldn't do that well on the wing. How would Rooney do on the wing? He wouldn't be the best winger around but you can bet your arse he would never give up.
-
Bullshit! He isn't a winger, he isn't a midfielder. He has said time and again that he is not comfortable on the wing and has been saying this since he was playing for Rangers. The lad is a forward and even when he was played on the wing he didn't look like he couldn't be arsed, more that he wasn't comfortable there. I said from day one back in January 2009 that he shouldn't be played on the wing, and that if he was played as a striker he would score goals. I know he shouldn't be played on the wing but I just think regardless of whether you're decent in other positions or not you should always put the effort which, in my opinion, he didn't always do.

I don't really have a favourite player but I'm surprised by how many have Lovenkrands as their favourite player. He looked like he couldn't be bothered half the time when he was stuck on the wing (contrast that with Guthrie who, whilst he is better in the centre, always gets stuck in when on the wing) and he's only really hit form in the last 10-15 or so games, I would've thought more would have liked Coloccini, Jonas, Jose etc.
-
Lets hope Parky is as wrong as he was about Benitez and Hughton stays for another 2-3 years.
-
Considering only 2 of the bench are first teamers....no it doesn't. smart arse Just don't see the point in being negative when its a very strong team we've got out.

The Leazes Corner gets so much crap on here it's embarrassing. I can see how fans would get annoyed by being perceived as being lesser fans just because they aren't as loud as other parts of the ground but it's hard to argue against the fact that without the LC noise the ground would be almost dead. Just facts, not anyone thinking they're better than anyone else.

I think that's him, aye, cheers.

He kinda looks like Donaldson with a longer face, if that makes sense? I know it's definitely not Donaldson though.

I need some help from some of the reserve/youth team experts, can anyone identify the player at the end of this video on the left of Joyce, chatting with some old bloke? Cheers. http://www.nufc.co.uk/sub/articles/20100224/nufctv-youth-cup-special-story-so-far_2241171_1976172

I think it's a bit harsh to say we haven't missed Taylor. We've conceded 11 in the 9 games he's missed compared to 6 in 9 in the run up to his injury. I realise this doesn't take into account a whole host of factors (including missing Jose and the standard of the teams) but it seems to indicate we have been a bit worse at the back. I think Williamson has been brilliant since he came but from what I saw yesterday he looked a little shaky/nervous at times and made a couple of silly decisions, we'll have to wait and see if he can keep up his early form (which was excellent), otherwise I still think Taylor-Colo might be our best partnership with the players we have at the moment. As for Coloccini being player of the season, I'd have to disagree. He's definitely been in the top 3-4 players all season but I think people have been quick to forget how could Jose has been. In most games he's not only been our best defender but also our best attacker.
-
Dunno what Colo was trying to do there.
-
Rightfully our first choice striker.
-
Two games in a row Drogba has been rubbish. Hate Chelsea and their fans, great result for Man City.

I remember you saying something along those lines. Edit- http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,60651.msg1824119/topicseen.html#msg1824119

If he'd gone straight from us to the mackems I'd be bothered. He just seems a little washed up now (yes, I do realise he is playing a higher level than us) so I don't really care.
-
Wasn't really a crunching tackle. Bassong v Jones = crunching tackle. Cattermole makes crunching tackles, he'd be the sort of person you'd ask if you wanted a player's leg broken.
-
When was the last time Barton even made a decent crunching tackle anyway?
-
And how did he do that? He was part of the team that got relegated? f*** every single one of them then. How is Beye immune from being blamed for taking us down? You wouldn't say the same about someone like Owen. Because Owen contributed absolutely nowt from January onwards. And Beye was pretty average all season. Taylor was better than Beye last season, better than Coloccini as well but it pains you to admit it.
