If you mean who I think you mean, then she's mental. She always predicts Sunderland wins Stupid cow.
-
Apart from a few good players the rest are totally crap. And they've spent more than 90% of teams.
-
On the official site Joyce says that Vuckic won't be fit for the next round but S.Ameobi might be.
-
Liverpool, agreed. But I can't see Villa and Spurs getting relegated as well.
-
Maybe because he's desperate to score? I'd be more worried if he didn't give a toss.
-
It's just that you always seem so assured in what you say. as if it's always right.

I searched for the predictions thread. Took 10 seconds. We you under the impression Birmingham would be losing loads of players as well?

You didn't here: http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,63682.msg1919989.html#msg1919989

I'm not saying it's true but they've got less reason than the papers to lie. It's not on the front page or anything, trying to gain viewers. It's hidden away on a page that probably doesn't get many views, why would they lie? Their source maybe wrong but I don't see a reason for making it up.

Because they were BOTH scoring. Play your best team not your best players. If Lovenkrands is scoring hatricks with Carroll as his partner I couldn't care less if Carroll doesn't score, he does his job well which helps Lovenkrands. Ameobi isn't as unselfish. How does he help Lovenkrands? He's a hinderance to team. If you think he's a hindrence to the team then you haven't seen many matches this season. I'll be the first to admit that he should be gettting more goals and he can improve certain parts of his game but he's a young lad who does a cracking job at both ends of the pitch, numerous times each game he gets great clearing headers when back defending at set pieces and while not scoring his presence causes problems and he gets valuable asssits, such as the two at Barnsley, i'd hardly call him a hindrence when we were away at Sheff Utd when he was battling away with Morgan. You now and again make some good points but you don't half come out with some crap! ;-) Agreed, that he needs to get more goals, and with the rest of the post.

How does he help Lovenkrands? He's a hinderance to team. He's a target man who did the donkey work for Lovenkrands. I can't remember many times when Lovenkrands had to hold the ball up in front of the defence. It obviously takes the pressure of him and allows Lovenkrands to play more. Obviously it would've been 6-0 with Ameobi playing as he would've finished Carroll's chances.

Harewood and Ameobi never functioned well as a pair but you wanted them up front just because they were scoring, what's the difference?
-
You also said Carroll-Lovenkrands wouldn't work didn't you? Seemed alright tonight.

I don't think Pancrate was as bad as he was against Barnsley. He isn't that great technically but he's pretty fast and in the first half we used the right hand side much more than we usually do. I thought Steven Taylor was better than Coloccini for the first time a while (wasn't much between them though) he seemed to want to pass the ball more rather than hoof it and even brought it out of defence quite well.

One of the few things they've done so far which has been proven is that when they say they put money in, they put money in and we should see a new set of accounts any day now. That seems to be true. It's almost like there's an unwritten code on what they can lie about and what they can't lie about. So the rules allow them to say there are a number of punters offering £100m for the club and it's fair game - a bit like "closing down sale" or "75% off". It's a marketing tactic and who cares about any of that shyte? But so far, as you say "Mike has stuck £20m in" seems to be in different territory. Let's see. Nobody said it was a fact that they didn't put £20m in, only that just because Lllambias says something is happening doesn't mean it's true. As for the 'sensible debate' argument, it's as close as you'll get to a sensible debate on here as snide remarks etc. seem unavoidable.

Ibrahimovic has pretty much played as a target man this season. He obviously makes some runs in behind but some games he's had his back to goal for massive periods.
-
What's so bad about that? Come on man, he's started 2 games. All it says is that he's one for the future and is an understudy to Taylor and Coloccini.
-
Ronaldo, are you related to Coloccini or something? You've got no right to slag others off for having favourites with your special relationship with Colo.
-
You do know this thread was about Ketsbaia for manager not as a player?
-
How good was Ronaldinho tonight?
-
I saw someone earlier in the thread say Milan and Juve have been inconsistent but since the first few weeks haven't Milan hardly lost?
-
I can't believe I was having a debate this summer about who is the best in the world. Messi is head and shoulders above Ronaldo tbh.

Nicky Butt fears this could be his last season
Frazzle replied to LoveItIfWeBeatU's topic in Football
That article is crap, it's too hard to work out when they're talking about Butt or the car. I assume that's the car?
