What would you call big wages? He might take a reduction to get away from Villa, I doubt he'd come down to a level which I think would match what he's probably be worth. He's worth nowhere near the £65k I've seen mentioned, I wouldn't give him a third of that. I reckon if he came we'd be looking at giving him around 25-30k. Total guesswork on my part but I can't see him being up there with the top earners straight away.

I'm of the opinion that any noise is better than no noise tbh. I don't think Nolan and co. care that much if the wrong lines are sung during the Blaydon Races or that others are sang too quickly, they just want to hear some support. Colo recognises his song, so does Jose, so do most players probably. I'm not saying L7 people are immune from criticism but some of the complaints are a bit silly IMO in the grand scheme of things.
