It's not really blind hope. He's never been given a run in a team and has still shown he has quality. One good game in ten? Like I say, an improvement on what we've got.
-
He's young and can only get better. I still think he's an improvement on what we've got.
-
Rubbish for Arsenal = good for us (essentially ) He's still better than Lovenkrands etc.
-
Can you PM me a link? Can't find it at the moment.
-
Is that yours Sewelly? I know you said you were gonna do one.

Dowie loves us. He's always praising the fans every opportunity he gets. All hail King Dowie

Careful - you'll get accused of being 'negative' next.........! Reality is something many find difficult to face... Well saying we're relegated by the start of January is a bit negative.

Anyone heard of a lad called Baco? I think he could be a good foil for Carroll.
-
Probably why we signed him on loan first, to take the credit twice.

Will BEN BEN BEN ARFA fit on a shirt?
-
I was watching goals on sunday the other day and they were talking about Gradel. Can't remember what anyone said though. Sorry.

You should be on a stage. Sweeping the f***er. I may need to brush up on my jokes, this is true.

Simpson won't be losing any sleep then...eh....eh.... Losing any sleep...
-
If we do sign him permanently and give him the no. 10 shirt he can become Ben 10, who is a cartoon character.
-
We need him back on the green rectangle ASAP.
-
TF1 is respectable as well isn't it? Closest thing in France to the BBC? Or not? When he signed on loan even then it seemed to be unreal, transient...if we get him permanently...

Never seen Gladiators mate? It's easy!
-
Rooney must be playing with Ferdinand's kids to get his mojo back.
-
I don't know how someone could go to the effort to be so negative all the time. I may have got him confused with someone else but didn't Crumpy say he is a teacher? I bet that's a barrel of laughs for the kids.

however, if it was a tiger t-shirt. Still no. NO animal t-shirts.

Can I make it clear I would NOT approach a man in a club to compliment him on his owl t-shirt.

Backing off is needed though. Everyone goes mental when our players aren't diving in but timing the challenge is part of the art of defending and backing off is part of that. Obviously there's a time and a place.

i've never felt the urge and have always been confused as to why my mates have done it. It's just being friendly, nothing more or less, it's how you meet people when you're out isn't it? People being a bit drunk and going over and starting a conversation about a shared interest. Last night this lad came over and started talking to me because he liked my owl t-shirt, for example. Hmmm

Well I think everyone goes too far with the backing off thing. Against Man City Toure was sprinting upfield and all the fans started started going mental because Coloccini was backing off and backing off. Coloccini then times his challenge perfectly and everyones happy... Fair enough if you think he does it too much but when I played (as an attacker) I loved defenders committing themselves early.
